Fancy music coming from the orchestra on the side of the stage, Ladies and Gentlemen on their fabulous modernized hanbok..

It's too luxurious for Athena.

She breathed out heavily and searched for Ethan. She went to the restroom awhile ago. Not expecting he will wait, she wasn't disappointed anymore.

"Where is he...?"

she wander her eyes on her surrounding while she walks.

"Ms-"

Out of carelessness, she bumped into someone.

"I-I'M SORRY!!"

She bowed, panicking slightly.

"It's okay. raise your head."

A calm and sweet manly voice asked her to raise her head. He smiled at her warmly.

"You're looking for someone?"

He asked her, Athena, who is starstrucked with who is standing in front of her didn't utter any word and just drool in front of him.

Gavin chuckled and waved his hand in front of her.

"A-Ahh.. what are you saying again?"

Athena nervously laughed, awkwardness slowly eating the two of them.

"I think you are finding someone..?"

Gavin asked her. She nodded her head redundantly.

"Y-yes.. I apologize."

She said bowing again. Gavin couldn't help it but to laugh at how adorable she is.

"Yah don't need to be so formal. we are on a party."

He said, laughing with her actions.

"Ahh.. I see."

Gavin reached his hand in front of her.

"I'm Gavin Clarkson. Can i know your name young lady?"

She looked at his hands, hesitating if she'll take it or not. But she don't want to be rude in front of Jake so she just took it and shook his hands.

"Athena Saavedra. It's nice to meet you sir."

She said politely.

"Sir?"

"Yes. The Heir of the Clark Real Estate that was known all over the world, One of the major investor of the Skylark Group, A musician, violinist and a famous songwriter."

"You... You know me very well!"

Gavin excitedly said and childishly smiled.

"Yes... I'm a fan of yours sir. I listen to your songs..."

Athena shyly look down, playing with her fingers.

"Aww. You want some autograph?"

Athena's eyes sparkled.

"let's find who's your looking for first before we do that. he or she must be bored by now. Care to tell me who is it?"

"Ahh! Chairman!"

She suddenly remembered why Ethan brought her to the party. He must be very annoyed by now.

"chairman who? the Chairman of the Lamia Corporation? Intel Corps? Olympus Trades? Perhaps-"

"The Chairman of the Skylark Group."

Gavin was taken aback, looking at her like he can't believe what she just said.

"Ethan??"

He repeated. She nodded her head.

he suddenly laughed softly.

"He's there!" Gavin said, pointing the cluster of crowd on the side of the venue. "let's go! I'm actually looking for him too."

he said, walking towards Ethan's direction. Athena followed his trails.

They saw Ethan, sitting on the chair while crossing his arms and just blankly staring on the glass of wine on the table in front of him. Countless men were surrounding him, telling them the proposals they would give to Skylark Group in order to keep in touch with the company.

You can literally see on his poker face how pissed and uncomfortable he is. Athena gulped, feeling how dark his aura is right now.

"Chairman Mircovich!!"

Gavin shove the crowd in front of him and walked towards the chair beside Ethan.

"gentlemen, can i talk to my friend in private first? I would really appreciate your understanding."

jake told them to stay away from Sunghoon in the most polite way he can.

"But Mr. Clarkson-"

"I beg your pardon Mr. Gong."

Gavin looked at him with his mischievous smile. Mr. Gong just nervously laughed at him and walked away.

"So.. Is this your girlfriend? She's looking for you."

Ethan looked at his left, finding Jiyoung.

"where did you go?"

Ethan asked her, annoyance can be heard on his voice.

"U-Uhmm.. restroom. right?"

"I told you that I'll wait on our table, why didn't you come back very quickly?"

"You didn't."

"I did."

"I don't know where our table is."

"stupid reasons."

Ethan hissed and looked at Gavin who is  just staring at him with a sly smile.

"So she's your girlfriend?"

"hell no."

He took the glass of wine on the table and chugged the wine down.

"Oh c'mon Ethaaaan you can tell me the truth~"

Gavin teased him.

He just glanced at Gavin and diverted his gaze towards Athena again.

"So what are you doing there? Sit down."

he commanded her. Athena sat near Gavin.

"tss.."

Sunghoon hissed again and rolled his eyes.

Athena looked at him as if asking what did she do wrong this time. Gavin looked at her, trying to suppress his laugh.

"Y-You- pfft- You serious he's not your boyfriend?"

Athena looked at him with amusement and disbelief.

"I'm his secretary."

"No waaay! HAHAHAHA!"

Gavin can't hep it and laughed out loud. Ethan glared at him with his coldest glare.

he took his phone from his pocket and dialed some number.

"yes it's me Mr. Clarkson. I'll be dropping the contract with-"

"yah Ethan!! I'll stop Okay!!? Please don't do this to meee!"

Ethan looked at him in silence.

"I'll call you later Mr. Clarkson."

He said and dropped the phone call. Gavin smiled at him with relief.

"I'm just surprised how you found a secretary. I can't help it. alright?"

"Are you insulting me Mr. Clarkson?"

Ethan scoffed. Gavin tilted his head like a child.

"It's a compliment. take it as a compliment."

gavin said cackling and looked at Athena. He leaned towards her and whispered some words on her ear.

"he's jealous that's why he's salty af. I apologize on behalf."

he said and laughed again. Sunghoon stood up from his seat and was about to walk away.

"ETHAAAAN??!!"

Cassandra Aleister, The daughter of the president suddenly appeared from nowhere. Her eyes as bubbly as possible like a puppy.

Ethan glanced at Athena, before faking a smile and extending his arms. Cassie filled the gap in between the two of them and embraced Ethan.

Athena can't help it but to roll her eyes.

'He's like that with someone he love? absurd.'

She thought to herself.

"You came!! I'm so happy!!"

Cassie said, embracing him tightly.

"Ofcourse i will. It's your birthday afterall."

'cheesy'

Athena thought to herself.

"Where's my gift? You prepared one right?"

"here."

Ethan took a small box from his pocket and gave it to Cassie.

"OMG what's this? A ring?"

'ring my ass. he don't have time to buy anything for you.'

Cassie opened the box, 

"Ohmygod."

she teared up as she covered her mouth, taking out a car key from the box.

"This... is your car right?"

Everyone's attention went towards them.

Ethan nodded.

"You told me you love it right? It's yours now."

The Lamborghini Gallardo on his parking lot. A limited edition car that was made for him.

'He just don't have time to buy any gifts. tsk tsk. '

"Ethan.... thank you very much..."

She said crying and hugged him again. Everyone clapped with amusement.

"haha. sit down. "

He comforted her a bit before telling her to sit down on his side, pulling the chair for her.

'He even pulled her chair?'

"Ethan this is really..... You're sure you'll give it to me?"

"yeah. why not?"

he chuckled. Cassie slapped his shoulder softly.

"You should have told me that you will give it to me eventually. I literally cried in front of my bad just to beg him to buy me the same model."

Athena rolled her eyes again. Gavin was looking at her all through out the scene and captured her pissed look.

"Ms. Athena.. pfft- you look so jelly."

Gavin whispered on her while laughing. Athena glared at gavin and slapped his shoulder too, but with much force than Cassie.

"Gavin, shouldn't you be looking for your fiance by now?"

Ethan suddenly called him. Gavin looked at him, his mood slowly changing.

Cassie looked at Gavin and chuckled.

"I'll be waiting for your wedding, Gavin. hahaha!"

Cassie joked around, pissing Gavin even more.

"That Ice cube, Me? No thanks."

Gavin stood up, looking at Athena and bidding his farewell. Ethan and Cassie high-fived as they succeeded on pissing Gavin.

Athena just crossed her arms, pretending not no co-exist with them.
