"Let's go home?"
Ethan who was staring again on his wine glass asked Athena. Athena is leaning on the table when Ethan asked her, she's almost asleep.
"Don't ask me like I am your wife. someone might get jealous"
Athena rolled her eyes, drinking the champagne on her glass. Ethan looked at her direction with his infamous blank expression. He raised his eyebrow and spoke.
"The hell are you saying?"
"Yah you know.. Ethaaan~"
Athena glared at him while imitating Cassie's sweet voice.
Ethan shook his head.
"Just who are you talking to?"
"Why Chairman? You wanna fire me?"
Athena smiled mischievously and leaned her head toward Ethan's
"You are really good at playing your cards huh? Be careful who you are playing with."
Ethan and Athena exchanged glares and grins while their face were only inches apart.
"Is that a compliment or a threat chairman?"
Ethan moved away, chuckling slightly.
'unbelievable.'
Ethan stood up, holding her wrist and dragged her to the exit.
"where are you going?"
Gavin stopped them from moving by putting his arm on Ethan's shoulders.
"We're going home. She's drunk already."
"Drunk? She's only drinking champagne the whole time."
"exactly. A whole bottle of champagne."
Ethan pointed at Athena who cannot even stay firm on her position.
"She's dumb."
Gavin chuckled, looking at the tipsy Athena.
"Couldn't agree more."
Ethan bid his farewell to Gavin and head towards the parking lot.
Secretary Lim was waiting for them there, opening the door for the two of them.
"You really sure Princess Cassandra won't be mad at you if you suddenly went missing on her party?"
Athena bitterly laughed.
"Look who's jealous."
Ethan slyly grin
"I'M NOT!!"
Athena yelled making Ethan smirk.
"As you say so."
He shrugged his shoulder and closed his eyes.
"huh. so i am the one jealous here when you are the one who kept pushing Gavin away from us."
"I'm not pushing him away. His fiance needs him on her side. "
"lame excuse."
"At least i didn't get drunk because of jealousy."
"So you really admitted you are jealous?"
"So you are proving my statement correct now since you are not defending yourself anymore?"
they exchanged sharp glares towards each other. testing who will surrender and who will claim the victory.
"It's non-sense to defend myself against you."
"likewise."
he retorted, earning a scoff from her.
"hardheaded."
"brat."
"arrogant."
"impudent."
"self-centered."
"You are really testing my patience?"
Ethan looked pissed just now. Athena stuck her tongue out like a child.
"fire me now Chairman Park. Please do as you wish."
"So you can be my wife? Hell no."
Athena chuckled.
She looked at the window on her side.
"Of course you already have Princess Cassie."
Athena laughed bitterly. Ethan frowned.
"I don't like her for pete's sake okay?"
"oh really loverboy?"
Athena mocked at him. Sunghoon bit his lower lip in annoyance.
"coming from you Ms. Hopeless Romantic."
Athena saw Ethan rolled his eyes before closing it again.
"pardon?"
"Your eyes literally shines whenever Gavin is talking to you. So obvious."
Ethan murmured.
"R-Really?"
Ethan opened one of his eyes to look at Athena with that you're-really-dumb-huh? look. Athena rolled her eyes and breathed out.
"Why is this on me again? anyways we are just talking about-"
"Coz you are pretty obvious. It kinda turned him off."
he hissed making her open her mouth in shock,

She asked him. Ethan simply nodded his head. Jiyoung can't help it but to facepalm.
"I'm so dumb."
"That's obvious too."
he snickered, opening the car door and walking outside as they arrive on the house.
"Wait up chairman!!"
"What now?"
"Won't you help me here?"
"You're already sober. help yourself."
Ethan walked towards the door and slammed it. Athena flinched with the loud thud the door made.
"The hell is wrong with him?"
Athena tried to walk properly even tho she's like a figure skater sliding on ice with her every step. She went inside the house, walking towards the kitchen to grab some water and walked to her room.

blood....
everywhere..
the scent of the scarlet liquid occupied his whole surrounding. A boy was sitting on the road. Covering his face with his hands trying to wipe the blood flowing from his eyes.
painful....
agonizing..
Ethan tried to reach out for the kid.
"hey! look at me!! I'll ask for help!!"
He panicked and grabbed his phone on his pocket, dialing the number of the ambulance. Ethan anxiously looked at the child's state.
The bleeding won't stop whatever he do. His hands full of his own blood as he looked at the human bodies on his sides.
The boy cried out even louder. more blood started to flow from his eyes. Ethan's knees started to get weak.
He don't know who the boy is nor the corpse on his sides but it's just too much for him.
"NO!!"
Ethan breathed in and out, panting anxiously after he woke up from his constant nightmare.
He stared at the void as his sweats dropped from his forehead
he cannot see anything.... he tried to wave his hands... touching the bedside table and sliding his hand on the drawer to take a vial of medicines.
he gulped down two of the medicine. His vision slowly retaliating...
"Chairman??!!"
Athena rushed towards him the moment she heard him scream.
Tho he cannot see her because she's walking towards him, he looked at the doorway and spoke.
"I'm okay.."
Athena halted on her steps as Ethan spoke.
"You're.... Sure?"
"Get out. Please get out..."
Ethan looked down, the gloomy voice of him is audible enough just for the two of them to hear.
"o-okay.... Call me when you need me..."
Athena said, walking out the door.
"I don't need anyone......"
