"Assistant Saavedra!"
Director Shane Dawson of the finance department called her name. Athena is walking towards the elevator towards the top floor.
It was her usual day again. After the incident that happened earlier, she woke up alone, The chairman already went to office for work.
She's been asking herself what exactly happened earlier but the chairman refused to talk about it. He swept her away in an instant.
"Assistant Saavedra!!!"
Athena was brought back to the reality by the panting Director Dawson.
"Director?"
Athena said and turned around seeing the older woman catching her breath.
"At last...."
Mrs. Dawson said, sighing. She took a deep breath before speaking up again. Athena was attentively listening now.
"Can you send this to the chairman when you go to his office? I am already late for my meeting so i can't bring it personally."
She handed Athena a blue folder. Athena took it and nodded her head.
"I got you Director Kang,"
She said, smiling politely and bowed, walking towards the elevator. Director Dawson waved her hands signing her farewell.
While on the elevator, Athena can't help it but to look at the information inside the folder.
"certificate of partnership.....?"
She read the following sentence until the elevator door rang.
"Assistant Saavedra?!!!!"
Ms. Althea ran towards her the moment she saw the latter stepping out from the elevator.
"Why...?"
She asked, clueless about what the latter will say.
"Bring this to the chairman. Make sure he'll read it okay??"
A red folder was handed to her now.
"Assistant! can you bring this one too?"
Ms. Lea Miller of the HR department spoke too, followed by Mr. Smith and Mr. Garcia who also want her to deliver their reports to the chairman.
Athena who was just silently taking all of the files is now weirded out.
"Why is everyone giving me their folders?"
she asked Althea while walking towards her table.
Althea chuckled nervously.
"Well you see, It's the period day for chairman today."
"Period day?"
"Yeah!"
Althea said, nervously smiling at her.
"What do you mean?"
"You'll figure out later. Submit the reports to the chairman nooow!!"
Althea said, walking towards her desk.
Athena just shrugged her shoulders and walked towards the Chairman's office door.
"knock before you enter,"
his cold voice welcomed her the moment she stepped inside the office.
"I apologize chairman."
she bowed her head as if he can see her. Ethan was busy scanning the files on his desk. he didn't even lifted his head towards her direction.
"Did i called you?"
he asked without even looking at her.
"No chairman."
"Then why are you here? Get out."
'What's wrong with him?'
Athena asked herself. She just faked a smile and chuckled.
"Director Dawson wants to give you this,"
she handed the red folder to him. Ethan took it and scanned what is inside.
"This is not from Director Dawson,"
he said, looking at her as if he's saying are you dumb?
She looked at the folders messed up on her hands.
"Oh I apologize... Here's the folder from Director Dawson,"
she apologized. Ethan sighed and rolled his eyes, grabbing the certificate of partnership from her hands.
"Bring this to the President of JoyTours. Don't come back here until the contract is signed,"
Ethan commanded as he threw the folder on the table. Athena's eyes went wide in surprise.
"M-Me? Are you sure chairman?"
she asked, clarifying what she heard.
Ethan frowned and raised an eyebrow.
"Is there any other human capable of doing that here besides you and me?"
he asked, sighing again to decrease his annoyance. Athena bit her lip.
"O-Okay chairman. I'll send this now,"
she put the folders she is holding on the table before speaking up.
"These are the reports from the other employees,"
she said and grabbed the blue folder for the contract she needs the president of JoyTours to sign.
"I'll get going,"
she said and bid her farewell. He fixed his eyeglass and nodded.
"Athena!!! So how did it ended? You're fired already?"
Althea yelled at her with concern, rushing towards her direction.
"What are you saying? You're really weird..."
Athena took her sling bag from her chair.
"He already fired 5 employees before you arrived. You're really lucky you are on his good side!"
Althea said and shook her head in disbelief, "How to be you? Althea Saavedra?"
"Ms. Althea, It's Athena!!"
Athena jokingly shouted. Althea just chuckled and patted her shoulders. Athena walked towards the elevator and headed to the company building of the JoyTours.

"Can i ask for Mr. Kent Aphelion, The President of JoyTours?"
Athena arrived on the company lobby earlier than she expected. The building of Skylark Group and the JoyTours building were like neighbors. You can clearly see the top of the SkyPark Skyscraper here.
" Do you have an appointment, Miss?"
The receptionist asked her. She nodded her head and smiled politely.
"Yes. I'm from Skylark Group. I'm here for Mr. Park,"
Athena said. The receptionist nodded and called someone.
"The president is still busy Ma'am. Is it okay if you'll wait on the lobby first?"
The receptionist told her after confirming the President's schedule through the telephone.
Athena, who is quite unsure, nodded her head. She came earlier than expected. Maybe that's why...
She walked towards the lobby's sofa and sat there. She roamed her eyes around, seeing how elegant the building was made.
'Skylark Group's building is much more beautiful than this but this is really cool... ' she thought to herself.
"Are you lost cute lady?"
a man, on her age nonchalantly said as he hopped on the sofa and sat besides her.
He smiled at her brightly.
Athena felt creeps, seeing how the man look like. He's like the bad boy kind of guy, total contradiction of Chairman Mircovich. Leather jacket.. Black shirt, shades and rings.. Total bad-ass for her. Yes he's young but seeing his outfit, Athena thought he's much older.
She felt the need to stay away from him so she moved a little, creating a distance between the two of them.
The man chuckled.
"What are you doing?"
he asked with slight confusion.
"Moving away from you. Please fvck off,"
Athena said straightforwardly making Kent open his mouth with surprise.
"Uhmmm... You're sure?"
Kent bit his lips to suppress his laughter which annoyed Athena even more.
"yeah. please.fvck.off."
Athena said with emphasis.
"You really don't know me Miss?"
"Even if i do, I won't really care,"
she faked a smile and looked at him from head to toe.
'unbelievable.'
Kent laughed as he stood up holding his stomach. Jiyoung arched her eyebrows towards him.
Suddenly,
The receptionist ran towards them. Agitated and panicking.
"President!! Your assistant told me you are still busy!!"
Athena's eyes went wide in surprise.
"President?!!!"
She yelled as she stood up.
Kent chuckled, shrugging his shoulder.
"Jay Park. President of JayTours,"
He said and laughed, walking away from her with a mischievous smile on his face.
That's the moment Athena realized.
She's doomed.
