Zach POV
Both Aimee and I fell asleep after making love late afternoon, and for once, she slept through the night, and so did I. We woke up early in the morning. I woke up confused; I didn't know what time it was or where I was, and I looked beside me, and there my sweet mate was asleep. When I first opened my eyes, I thought it was evening because it was dark outside. No one had disturbed us, which is odd. My baby held on to me for dear life; she had nightmares again. It makes me heavy-hearted; I wish I could relieve her of the painful memories plaguing her dreams. They are worse since her father and brother had been here to visit her.
