"Still no news?" he asked in a low voice, his golden eyes gleaming dangerously in the dimly lit room.
The Beta standing before him lowered his head, sweat glistening on his forehead. "We’ve used every resource available. Eugenia has vanished without a trace."
Dominic’s pupils contracted slightly.
His fingers tapped rhythmically against the table, his voice chillingly calm. "A severely injured woman doesn’t just disappear into thin air."
The Beta spoke carefully. "The hospital’s surveillance was hacked. Her escape route and exact time of departure are completely untraceable. Someone helped her."
Dominic let out a cold laugh. "Interesting… It seems our dear Eugenia is more resourceful than I thought."
