Twilight Breaking Dusk (Book 1)

Bella POV:     When the Volturi left us in peace, we said goodbye to all the family and friends that had helped us with the Volturi. When everyone left, Renesmee and I left to go to our cottage, I had to get Renesmee to bed and get her clean. Edward was still talking with Jasper and Emmett was talking about the Volturi.      When I got Renesmee out of the bath, I dried her and hair and put it in a high ponytail. I got her dress and sat her in the kitchen so I could fix her up some dinner. "What would you like for dinner hon?" I asked. Renesmee was a picky eater, so I asked what she wanted before I just throw something one the stove. "Can I have chicken and some corn please."      I took out some chicken and started heating up the stove. I went over to the cabinet to grab corn. I cracked open the corn and poured it in the bowl and cut up a slice of butter to put in the corn. I warmed up the corn to cook, it took 3 to 4 minutes to be cooked all the way.  "How many pieces of chicken would you like?"  "1."      Renesmee always ate one piece of chicken. I took one piece of chicken out of the pack and put the rest in a zip lock bag. I put the chicken back in the freezer. I let the chicken cook on one side and I let the other side cook.       When I got down cooking I made Renesmee a plate, I got her a cup and fulled it with deer blood. Deer blood her favorite to drink.      I sat and watched her eat. She always took her time eating. while she was eating I clean up the pot I had made the chicken in.  "I'm done mama." she got up and put her plate and cup in the sink.  "Okay, now go and brush your teeth and get ready for bed. We go a long day tomorrow with Grandpa. I will be in there in a sec." I told my daughter      She had skipped off into the bathroom     When I finished, Edward was walking in the house.  "What did you make?" Edward asked "Chicken and corn." I replied     While I was dying my hand with a cloth, Edward came over and gave me a kiss on the forehead. "Where Renesmee, love?" Edward asked "She is in the bathroom brushing her teeth getting ready for bed." I said   "Do you need any help? I could put her down and read her a book."  Edward asked "sure."      I watched him walk in the bathroom and walk out and entered her bedroom. While Edward read Renesmee a book, I went into the walk in closet, to grab some clothes to put on after my bath. I went into the bathroom to put on some warm water to cool me down, today has been a long day. I had stripped off my clothes a soaked in the warm water.      After my bath, I put my clothes on and went to go check on Renesmee. She was fast asleep. I took her laundry out of her room, and put them in the laundry room. When I turned around Edward was at my side "Jeez Edward you could've gave me a heart attack." I tried to say without laughing "Sorry, Renesmee asleep. how was your bath?"      I left the laundry room and went to the living room and sat on the couch.  "I know she asleep, I went to check on her." I said     Edward sat beside me and played with my hair.  "Whats wrong, love" I knew I couldn't keep anything with him. Even though he couldn't read my mind, he studied my face.  "What if the Volturi came back? What would do? We already leaving, we can't keep doing this to her." If it was possible me to cry I would've.  "If they come back we would be prepared and what are we doing to her."  "If they keep coming back, we gotta move again and again. I don't want that life for her. I want her to go to school and be a normal 8 year old girl."     I know she not normal but she is normal in her own way. I couldn't have her miserable because of the Volturi. "Bella i promise you and Renesmee that when we move I'll get her into a school, I promise, but for now we need to get ready for tomorrow. We got a long day tomorrow with Charlie and we gotta start packing." He said holding his hand out to help me up.      I got up and we went to grabbed some box's to start packing. I started in Renesmee room, Its was hard to make no nose because she had nosy things in her room.       When I finished Renesmee Room I put all the box's in the living room.  I went to see how Edward was doing and our room was almost empty.  "Wow, how did you do this so fast."  I was curious. I almost took hours with Renesmee room.  "We didn't have much to take with us. Half of it was throw way." He said walking out the door. I followed him out the door.  "All we have left is the closet. Jake here." I said walking to the door. We haven't told Jake we was leaving, I needed to have the right time.  "Hey Jake." I think this is the right time to tell him. He is going to mad that he is not coming with. "Hey Bella. What are you guys doing? why are they so many box's for." "Jake were leaving tomorrow night. Renesmee needs a fresh new start."      I left the room and grab a picture of Renesmee, myself, Edward, and Jake, to have something to remember us by.  "Here Jake. This is something to remember us by. We won't come back for awhile."      Jake throw the picture at the ground and ran out the house.
