The Bad boy

3 Weeks had passed and I was still not over Josh and I still couldn't believe that it had ended. I loved him so much and I really missed him. I had to stop thinking about him, it was over and I had to focus on Caleb. Me and my mom had already moved in with her friend Yvonne. It was a bit different from home but it was better than having to move to Washington. I did make a a friend with one couple Troy and Christina in the apartment complex that were about 10 years older than me, but they were sweet and more my type of people. I was walking to the laundry room they had in the complex and I as I arrived I seen Christina. She said " Hey Sarah, how are you? " I said "good, just have a lot of laundry to do" She replied " Are you busy tonight? " we are having some people over to watch a boxing fight, you interested?" I loved having older friends and I hadn't really been anywhere but school, me and Josh avoiding each other at school just reminded me about us and kept me from wanting to go anywhere. So I said " sure that sound fun, I can have my mom watch my son. She says "cool, the fight starts at 7 tonight" I asked "should I bring something, like snacks or soda?" She giggled and said " no silly we have beer and all the snacks we need" I laughed "oh okay I forget how much older you are than me." I put my load of laundry in the washer and Christina walks of and says " see you later Sarah" I replied "see you then, thanks for the invite"
It was 10 minutes before the fight started and I say goodbye to Caleb and thank my mom for watching him. I walk about 3 apartment buildings over and get to there house a few minutes before the fight started. I knock on the door and there was Troy to greet me " Hey Sarah, glad you could make it" hes said happily. I said " thanks for having me." All of a sudden I feel a pair of eyes staring at me like I was the only person in the room. I looked over and there was a guy with a lot of tattoos and piercings.I looked at him with a confused look on my face. He looked away quickly. I said hi to Christina and she said" hi Sarah" and started to introduce me to everyone. When she got to the strange guy who was staring at me she says, " Evan this Sarah" I replied "hi Evan nice to meet you" I looked to see where I could sit and of course the only seat available was next to Evan. I walk over to where Evan was and hesitantly sit next to him. He looks at me with these cute puppy dog eyes and says " hey Sarah, are you looking forward to this fight? it supposed to be a good one." I smiled and said "honestly I have no clue who is fighting and I'm just here because I was invited." He smiled back and said " I see, well the fight will be good and I think you will love it" "okay" I said giggling.
The fight started and everyone was getting riled up excited. I started to watch and tried to get into it. I keep seeing Evan stare at me out of the corner of my eye. I don't say anything because there were people around and trying to pay attention to the fight . I decided to move to the other side of the living room and stand for a bit. I was feeling a little uncomfortable. As soon as I stand up I hear Evan say " where you going?" I don't know why but I said I was going outside for a bit to call and check on my son." He says " oh okay" I walked over to the front door and I walked outside and thought to myself why did I say that? So I stayed outside for a bit and then as I decided to go back in Evan walks outside and walks up to me. He then says " hey is your son good?" I looked up at him and said "yes, hes asleep" I knew I had lied but I didn't want to tell him the real reason I was leaving. He starts to say " hey Sarah, I have a question for you? "I was thinking is this another Josh situation, always with the questions. I said " sure" he then asks " are you seeing someone?" I looked at him with a confused look on my face. I told him " you do know i'm way younger than you right?" he replies "I know I can't help but have this feeling about you" I told him " I am only 16, how old are you?" He responds I'm 26." I started to think what is going on? there is no way i'm dating someone that much older than me. I started to walk towards the front door and as I did Christina walks out and Evan just stops talking and walks in the apartment. Christina looks at him and then me. She suddenly tells me "Sarah don't even get started with him" I said "what do you mean?" "he is bad news Sarah, he is my best friend but not a relationship kind of guy." I replied "i'm not trying to be with him, he came out here asking me if I was seeing someone." He didn't care that I was only 16 and he was 26" I said irritated. Christina says to me " okay I will tell him to leave you alone, just remember hes bad news." I told her " I am not interested, and hes way too old for me." I wont even go there Christina I promise"
