Chapter 15

My head hurts so much, I try moving my arms to move my hair from my face and I find out I am tied to something, that seems to snap me out of my relaxed position and the warrior in me attempts to attack but still finds out we're restricted and don't really have a choice.

I immediately enter battle mode and take a relaxed and calm breath, I try to make out my surroundings but it's really difficult for me to see much of where I'm kept due to the position I'm tied.

All I can see is I'm in a room of some sort and that everywhere is dark. My vampire senses help me see better even though it's dark and I try to piece together events that led me to where I am now.

I remember waking up to screams and the smell of smoke, I remember rushing out and seeing the camp in disaster and then those women and kids, I pray inside me they were able to make it cause only the fates know what they'd go through if they didn't.

and then I remember bumping into that lycan, he said something about his Alpha.

His Alpha !!, the sudden realization of where she must be was enough to make her jolt up once more and try her best to free herself, these chains were too strong to escape and it seemed like they were extra fortified with something cause they refused to budge.

she put her mind into it and tried with all her might to free herself of her constraints, in that process she ended up making some noise.

The noise was enough apparently to alert her captors of her Awakening as she immediately heard the sound of the door opening.

"Hey princess" came a voice from somewhere in the room

"who are you" screamed lucilda still trying to free herself, she wasn't happy one bit about her present situation, she felt vulnerable to attack, even though she was already in the enemy's clutches, she wanted the chance to atleast be able to protect herself a bit.

"tsk tsk tsk, why the struggle princess" he moved into her line of sight and she gasped once she remembered the face, this was the lycan who abducted her, he seemed to realize that she recognized him as he smiled and grabbed her face in a tight hold.

" you!!', what is it you want with me?".

"me!!, no you see princess, I have nothing to do with you, the only thing I do feel is hatred for your kind for the atrocities they do.

" I'm sorry about that but it's not like I have a choice, I didn't have a say in any of these, is it fair that I face the consequences of a war I had nothing to do with in the first place".

"well, that's nor my business princess, I only do as I'm instructed to".

"and who's instructions are you acting on now?"

"why my dear Alpha's of course" he answered with a smirk

"what does he want with me?, "

"well princess how about you ask him yourself"

With that he injects her with something.

look at her, bloodsucker!!, she has to pay with her life, she won't be forgiven, she must be punished, she should be stoned to death, no she should be burnt on a stake, she is evil, pray to the goddess that she doesn't corrupts our land with her filthy blood, she looks horrible, her skin is so pale, do you think she's well restrained?

All the voices buzzing around was enough to make lucilda snap her eyes open and stare at what looked like a hall filled with lycan royalty.

She once again attempted standing but was restricted due to the presence of the chains.

She was forced to just keep calm and wait for whatever date had in store for her.

while waiting, the doors to the hall opened and more prisoners were marched into the hall.

She recognized a few here and there, some where those who had openly mocked her and used every available opportunity to make her life miserable in the short while they had spent together.

They looked like they had been tortured for the period of length of their stay in DEMEGRA.

The door opened once again and lucilda was rendered speechless, she couldn't believe who was just pushed in, commander Lucien their army general, she screamed his name and pulled at her constraints once more.

Lucien was chained at his hands and legs and continued being pushed till he hit he center of the room.

her attempts at tugging only led to her being hit by the guard that was asked to stay with her.

"Now that we're all complete" announced the royal advisor.

"the king should be here any minute now".
