Chapter 6 (Madeline & Sean)

I finally found my driver. I know Katie will not worry again because I have a new driver now. I hope this new guy will not get into my way. He has a look, but I don’t know how long he will last my bad temper. I needed to call Sean. Sean is my long-time boyfriend. Sean has been my boyfriend since I started my acting career at the age of 26 years old. Sean Davis was the executive producer of my first movie and that movie made me famous.
Sean is the only serious boyfriend that I have in life. And he is also the longest boyfriend that I have. Mostly I date rich and famous men, but it won’t last for a month or two. But Sean is different. He is the same age as me. He is tall and handsome. Tomorrow will be our 4th year anniversary as a couple. He worked in Paris, so currently we have had a long-distance relationship for two years now. I don’t know how long it will last for a long-distance relationship. I badly miss him. If this long-distance relationship continues for another year, I will really go to Paris and settle down there just to be with him.
He is always busy with his work. His family own a broadcasting company and Sean is the one who manages it now and that’s the reason why he was also busy. He is currently working in Paris as of now on the project that he has been working on for two years. I went inside my room, grabbed my iPad and I FaceTime Sean,
“Hey Baby! I miss you. How are you? How’s your day going in Paris?” I asked him with my lovely voice.
“Hi Baby, I miss you more. I am doing great! My day was going fine. Work is fine. How about you, babe?” He looked at me just like before. His eyes captured mine. How I wish I were beside him and I would give him a kiss and hug.
“I am doing great so far. And by the way, I found a new driver. We just hired one earlier. I need one because I will have a taping starting next week babe. I will get busy again.” I told him. Even if I am too busy with my work. I will make sure to have time to talk to him, no matter what time it is.
“Katie told me about your bodyguard.” He said, but why would Katie tell him about my bodyguard? Then I asked him.
“Katie told you? Did she contact you about that?” I asked him suspiciously but he just answered me and he looked at me into my eyes and he said,
“Babe, I asked Katie to report it to me. I started to get worried since I knew what happened to you in Singapore. If I hadn’t asked Katie, I wouldn’t know what happened to you back in Singapore”. He answered me.
I remember when he called after the accident happened in Singapore. He wanted me to have a 24/7 security team because he was afraid that it would happen again. I have a security team guarding my house 24/7, but I don’t like to have someone who keeps on following me around.
Sean told me that he’s about to finish his project in Paris and he’s planning to visit me in California. He said that he had something to do also in California and he would not stay in California for so long. He will stay for a few days or a week maybe. Then I asked him,
“Sean, how about staying here longer? Can you bring your work here in California? You know what, I wanted to stay beside you. Sleep beside you. I wanted you to be by my side babe. I badly missed you.”
“Babe, you know my work. I would love to stay with you and spend more time with you. But I have work to do in our company and this is also for you and for you only my love. Once everything is in place, we will be together. I promise you that. I love you so much babe.”
I could see into his eyes that he was sincere in what he said to me. I loved him so much. I love him to the point that it came into my mind that I wanted to marry him. He is the man of my life. He is the one. My love. We continued our conversation that night. We spent 3 hours talking online. Sometimes, it’s so hard for me to have a long-distance relationship. There was one time that I wanted to give up my career just to be with him because I couldn’t have it to have a long-distance relationship and we are doing this for two years. But for my love for him. I will endure it. I know he will realize one day that he will settle here in California.

My relationship with Madeline Shaw started when we had our first project. She captured my heart when I first saw her during that first movie project and I was the executive producer of that movie. That movie hit number 1 in cinemas. Since that day, we have been getting to know each other and every time I am with her. I fell more in love with her. My work in Paris separated us for 2 years. We have been a couple for 4 years. But those 4 years are a bit challenging for both of us, since I started to manage our company 2 years ago in Paris. We have had a long-distance relationship for 2 years now. I missed her so much. I wanted to put a ring on her finger.
I am relieved that she has a new driver now. I don’t want her to get stressed because she doesn’t have a driver. And I know her manager made more effort to find the right driver for her. Katie Perce, I need to talk to her about something important. I need to do it sooner.

The new guy will be here starting tomorrow. He will be my driver for 6 months. If he can survive until his contract ends, then he will be lucky. But his voice was familiar. I knew I heard it somewhere but I can’t remember where. A few days from now, I will start the taping for my next movie project.
While I was lying in my bed and checking my phone, I suddenly remembered Chris, his broad shoulders, perfect jawline for a man, his height and his looks, everything was perfect. And please, his sexy husky voice makes me realize that he’s the perfect man for me. And then I realized that I was thinking of him,
“Damn! What am I doing? Why am I thinking of that new guy? I need to stop it.”
