Chapter Fifteen

1053 Words
“Oh crap, where should I go?” She questioned herself as she carelessly walked around the forest.   She then heard a noise from her right so she carefully checked it out. What she didn’t know that it was Lucifer, trying to show her the way back by making noises. He couldn’t just leave her behind, he tried but his body won’t let him. Angel just followed the noise she’s been hearing, hoping that it will lead her back to the road.   Which it did, as soon as she saw the road, she ran outside the forest then faced the trees.   “Thank you Nature for showing me the way back home.” She bowed politely, making Lucifer smiled as he watched her leave.   Angel placed all the shopping bags just beside the door and plopped herself on the bed. Lucifer quietly snucked inside her bedroom and tucked her in her bed when he’s sure that she was asleep. He was about to leave but then Angel shifted her position and accidentally held Lucifer’s hands.   “Mr. Cuddles… don’t leave me.” She murmured in her dreams and Lucifer widened his eyes while a smile made its way on his face.   He caressed Angel’s cheek then slowly removed her hands off him.   “Don’t worry, Mr. Cuddles will never leave you. That’s a promise.” He softly said making Angel smile in her sleep. “Sweetdreams…”   He returned to their hideouts and straight to her room. He then went into his cabinet and opened a box where he kept a very important teddy bear that he received a long time ago.   “Mr. Cuddles, you’re lucky she still remembers you.” He then hugged the bear then sigh. “I miss cuddling your owner Mr. Cuddles, and she was right, you are a good company.”   “You know, why don’t you just try and tell her who you really are?” Shane appeared by the door and Lucifer glared at him.   “What are you doing here?” He asked him and placed Mr. Cuddles back to the box and puts it away.   “I’m just here to let you know that there will be a mission next month, and it will be the most dangerous one ever. Dark Sky are making their move so we have to make our move as well.” Shane replied and Lucifer clenched his hand.    He knew so well how dangerous the Dark Sky are. They are also groups of thugs just like them, but have more members than the Phantom Troupe and much more dangerous than them.    “So if I were you, I will spend the remaining time I have with Angel before the mission comes.” Shane suggested.   "I don't think she would want to be with me after what happened today." Lucifer told him and he raised an eyebrow.   "Soo, what did happened?" He questioned.   Lucifer told him about the argument that him and Angel had then Shane cracked out laughing.   "Bahaha! Bro, out of all the people that can make you frustrated, it's her." He mentioned and Lucifer gave him a straight face for laughing. "But I know she can forgive you as well for leaving her behind and sometimes you just have to suck in all of your pride and apologize."   "What if she doesn't?" Lucifer questioned.   "Bro, she may have forgotten you but she's still the Angel we once know. I know she can forgive you, after all, you were her first love. Plus she's the most stubborn person you'll ever meet in this world." Shane did some over dramatically gestures then gave Lucifer a funny look.   "What?" Lucifer raised his eyebrow in confusion.   "Do you still remember the first song she wrote?" Shane replied and Lucifer's eyes furrowed.   "No, I don't." He lied and Shane smirked.   "You're the apple to my pie~" Shane started singing and Lucifer rolled his eyes.   "Stop it." Lucifer demanded but Shane didn't listen and continued singing.    "You're the straw to my berry~"   "I said stop."   "You're the smoke to my high~"   "Shane I'm warning you." Lucifer was now glaring at Shane who was dancing.   "And you're the one I wanna marr-" Lucifer charged towards him and covered his mouth.   "Are you going to stop or am I gonna have to destroy all of your toys?" Lucifer threatened and Shane shook his head. "Alright alright, I'll stop." Shane mumbled and Lucifer released him. "CAUSE WE'RE THE PERFECT TWO!"   Shane immediately ran out of the room as he sang the last five words. Lucifer shook his head in annoyance then remembered what Shane said earlier.   "First love? What's that?" He questioned then remembered the mission.   “Why does it have to be now?” He asked no one in particular while lying on his bed. "I finally found you, only have to leave you again. I don't want to be separated from you anymore." The next day, Angel was woken up by the doorbell. She jolted up from her dreams and questioned herself of how she ended up inside her bed.    "I… was pretty sure I didn't tucked myself last night…" She moaned while rubbing her eyes.   The doorbell rang again so she rushed herself out of bed then opened her door to see Sean.   "Morning, how are you feeling?" Sean asked.   "A bit tired, you?" Angel answered.   "I'm fine thank you, say, wanna go out for breakfast? My treat again." Sean offered.   "Sure, why not." Angel agreed. After they had breakfast, they decided to have a stroll in the park.   "Umm Angel, I've been wanting to tell you something." Sean nervously said while rubbing the back of his neck.   "Hmm? What is it?" Angel questioned while stopping on their tracks.   "You see… umm… how do I start this?" Sean tried gathering his words and courage as he thought of confessing to Angel at that time. Although it looks like the Universe always finds a way to stop him when Angel spotted Lucifer from the corner of her eyes.   'What is he doing there? Is he spying on me?' She thought.
