Chapter Twenty

They were now inside her house, playing Uno awkwardly. Angel glaring at Lucifer from time to time and haven’t forgotten about the recent incident, Lucifer keeping a close watch on Sean and making sure he doesn’t make a move towards Angel and Sean feeling awkward because he doesn’t know who’s telling the truth.

“Uno! And I won.” Lucifer said as he placed his last card in the middle.

“Not again, I was so close…” Angel pouted as she dropped her last card. 

They were about to play another game when the bell rang. Angel wondered who would be at the door and when she opened it, it was none other than Shane and Phinks.

“Yay, more people to play with!” Angel cheered as he pulled the two of them at the game table.

“I didn’t know you guys were having a party here.” Shane pointed out and Angel shrugged.

“I didn’t know either until someone became a pervert.” Angel stated while glaring at Lucifer.

“It was an accident.” Lucifer defended and Angel crossed her arms.

“Not talking about that, you could have said no when I asked you to sleep with me.” Angel fires back and by this time, everyone who didn’t know about the incident was so confused.

“Oh so you’re saying that it was my fault?” Lucifer questioned while taking a step closer to Angel.

“Who else would it be? You can choose whether to stay or not, you just wanted to… do something on my body!” Angel shouted while covering her body and Lucifer slapped his face.

“I did not touch you!” Lucifer blurted out and Angel scoffed.

By this time, they didn’t realized that they were so close with each other.

“Oh my God, just kiss already!” Shane demanded and this made the two of them shock.

“Me? Kiss him? Never! I will never kiss a guy like him who is a pervert!” Angel shouted while pointing at Lucifer.

“Feelings mutual.” Lucifer told her and Angel locked her eyes with him.

“Good to know!” Angel crossed her arms then sat on the couch.

There was an awkward silence in the room, Shane and Phinks glancing at each other, thinking that they arrived at the wrong time.

“So… let’s… play a game!” Shane suggested as he tried to lighten up the mood.

He saw a bottle in the kitchen then took it.

“Who’s up for a truth or dare?” Shane questioned and everyone joined.

There were times where someone has to tell a weird answer, Shane having an ice in his pants, Sean wearing makeup, Phinks had to dance naked and Angel has to cover her eyes. Lucifer tickling Angel, Angel kissing Lucifer at the cheek which she hated but Lucifer got frozen and finally, the bottle pointed to Angel and this time she chose Truth.

“Have you ever been in a relationship?” Phinks asked and Angel was silent for a while before giving a forced smile.

“Actually, yes. He was one of the reasons why I wrote brokenhearted songs after my mother passed away.” Angel replied and Lucifer widen his eyes in surprise, as if he never expected Angel to be in a relationship with anyone.

“Oh, I see…” Phinks muttered while glancing at Lucifer and saw pain in his eyes.

“Anyways, let’s spin the bottle again shall we?” Shane nervously laugh and spun the bottle, landing to Lucifer and Lucifer picked truth. “Do you love someone?”

The question caught Lucifer off-guard, they weren’t supposed to talk about who he likes otherwise it would only bring back the time where Angel had forgotten it all. But a truth is a truth that you can’t lie so Lucifer took a deep breath before opening his mouth.

“Yes.” He simply answered and Shane was a bit disappointed at his answer because that was the time that he can express his feelings towards Angel.

Angel felt something stabbing her heart when he said yes, but she couldn’t understand why. She barely knows Lucifer and yet it affected her when she found out that Lucifer loved someone. So in the end, she shrugged the thoughts away and focused on the game. The bottle pointed at her once again and she picked truth.

“Okay Lucifer, you ask her.” Shane instructed and Lucifer turned to Angel, his heart skipped a beat as he stared into her eyes.

“Can’t you really remember me?” He unexpectedly asked and this gave Shane and Phinks a shock.

“What do you mean remember you?” Angel questioned and Lucifer flinched in surprise as he realised what he just ask.

“N-nothing, you… you just remind me of someone.” Lucifer answered and Angel raised an eyebrow, curious of who he was talking about.

“And who is this someone?” Angel continued to get information, this was the first time that she knew something about Lucifer.

“A special someone that I had loved before, she… she lost her memories about me due to an accident. I reunited with her again but… she doesn’t remember me. I was hoping that one day she will be able to remember me again.” Lucifer gave her a sad smile and Angel felt sorry for him.

“I’m so sorry, I… I didn’t know. Must have been hard for you to know that she doesn’t remember you, especially when she’s a special someone.” Angel stated and Shane cracked out laughing.

“Funny aye? Probably one of the most funniest things ever. And what’s more funnier than that? She is his first love before but he didn’t even know that up until now. He was also the girl’s first love.” Shane laughed and Lucifer glared at him.

“Oh, that must have been so hard for you.” Angel locked her eyes to Lucifer. “I guess my wish that if you still spend your time with this special girl of yours, hopefully she would be able to remember you as soon as possible.”

Shane laughed even louder as he finds it funny that it was her who they were talking about.

“I’m going to kill you!” Lucifer shouted and started chasing Shane around the room.

“Guys, not in my house.” Angel stood up and was about to get in their way but Phinks saw an opportunity to get her closer to Lucifer.
