"I think I like this one." Angel stated as she went out wearing a yellow jacket with white t-shirt on the inside and blue jeans.
"Yeah, I think it suits you." Lucifer verified and Angel raised an eyebrow.
"That's what you said for the last sixteenth times I wore something decent." Angel complained but Lucifer just shrugged.
“I think anything suits you anyway, I just didn’t choose the one that reveals too much because I don’t want any guys staring at you.” Lucifer explained and Angela was shock.
“You don’t want any guys staring at me?” Angela questioned and Lucifer flinched when he realized what he just said.
“Also you right? You also don’t want any guys to stare at you!” Lucifer tried reasoning out and Angel bought it.
“True, I don’t like attention anyways.” Angela pointed out. “Anyways, we should go. I still need to pay for these.”
“Already done.” Lucifer said.
“What?” Angela asked and one of the saleslady came towards them with at least three shopping bag.
“I already bought those clothes, even the ones that suit you, it’s all here. Plus the one you said that looked good on you.” Lucifer took the bags and Angela was shocked.
“You didn’t have to, I could have paid for them.” Angel objected.
“I didn’t have to, but I want to.” Lucifer smirked and Angel didn’t say another word. “Shall we?”
Lucifer brought Angel through the forest and they both walked side to side. There was a peaceful silence between the two of them, Angel trying to guess where they were heading while Lucifer was enjoying his time with her.
“So, where exactly are we going?” Angel questioned, deciding to break the silence.
"You'll see." Lucifer answered without giving away any clue.
"You're so boring." Angel commented while pouting.
"And you're so noisy." Lucifer fires back and it became quiet again.
Angel watched the shopping bags on Lucifer's hands and wondered why he bought all of the clothes that she said was good to her.
"So, why did you buy all the clothes?" She asked and Lucifer glanced at her.
"Because you look good in them." Lucifer replied and Angel widens her eyes. "Plus your old clothes looked like the 90's, it burns my eyes to see it. Can't believe someone is still wearing clothes from the 90's. I thought they already throw them all away?"
Angel's face then turned to a straight one as Lucifer stick his tongue out.
"Those weren't clothes from the 90's thank you very much. It's called styles." Angel defended and Lucifer chuckled. "What's so funny?"
"It's funny how you try and defend your clothes from the 90's when they're so ugly." Lucifer continued laughing and it annoyed Angel more.
"Well look at you, you look like you're going to a funeral." Angel pointed out and this time, it was her turn to laugh.
Lucifer stopped laughing as soon as she saw her laughing. He stared at the way she smiled and for the first time in his life, his heart was calm like a river again because he knows that his long lost friend was beside him again, safe and sound.
He never knew back then that he'd fallen in love with her. She was the reason why he didn't give up living before, why he was still searching for her after all these years even though he knew she had forgotten him and was hoping that one day she'll be able to remember him, the only reason why every night and day, he was searching for her smile because that was the only thing that would keep him sane and not kill anyone.
He was an Assassin after all and killing someone was in his blood because of his father. When he joined the Phantom Troupe, his first mission was to eliminate everyone in the Orphanage together with Shane and Phinks but he failed because of Angel. That was the only mission that he failed to complete.
Leo understood because a friend of theirs is a family. Although one day, Angel and Lucifer had an argument because someone wanted to adopt Angel. Lucifer didn't agree to it because they've promised to each other that they'll stay friends forever.
Angel explained that they will still be friends even though they were far away from each other but Lucifer didn't see her perspective, he believed that only by staying together can prove that they are still going to be friends so he told Angel that if she leaves, then he'll forget about her existent.
Angel didn't want that to happen so she ran into the forest to have some time alone but then she accidentally tripped over by a branch and bumped her head on a big rock when she fell, causing her memories of Lucifer to disappear.
According to the doctor, she might have forgotten about Lucifer due to the arguments that they did. Starting from that day, Lucifer started avoiding Angel until she left the orphanage, and that was when he eliminated everyone because of his anger.
Now, he still doesn't understand what he was feeling because no one had ever shown him what is like to love someone. Sure he has the troupe and they treat each other like family but they never really made him feel what he feels like whenever he's around Angel.
"Why are you staring at me?" Angel questioned, snapping Lucifer out of his thoughts.
"N-nothing…" Lucifer replied while looking away and Angel thought that he was weird.
'Keep it together Lucifer, keep it together. Why are you acting weird anyway?' Lucifer thought as he tried calming his self down.
Since she had forgotten about Lucifer, she didn't know that he was also her first love. She'd always try and save Lucifer from someone bullying him even though he doesn't need protection from anyone.
She can defend others but not herself. Although that was one of the reasons why Lucifer fell for her. Knowing that she cares about others more than herself.
