She changed her clothes then went outside while bringing some papers and pen. First place she went was the park. She went on the swing and watched as the little kids chase each other, play on the seesaw and playing hide n seek. As she was swinging on the swing, she saw a glimpse of someone on a tree, not far from where she was.
She thought it was just a trick of the light but she saw another movement so she went to check it out. When she got to the tree, there was no one there. She was about to leave but a figure appeared in front of her.
“Boo!” Angela screamed in surprise and fall down to the ground.
She looked at who it was and saw Lucifer hanging upside down the tree.
“You scared me to death!” She exclaimed and Lucifer jumped down.
“Yet you didn’t die.” Lucifer commented and Angel gave him a confused look. “You said I scared you to death, but you’re still alive.”
“It was an expression.” Angel stood up while dusting herself. “Anyways, why are you here anyway?”
“Don’t know, there wasn’t any mission today so… I went to check on you. Assist you if you need any help.” Lucifer replied.
Although the real reason was that he wanted to spend time with Angel just like the old times.
“Well I’m fine, if that’s what you want to know and at the moment, I don’t really need any help.” Angel stated then sat down and got her papers out.
“What are you doing?” Lucifer asked.
“Just writing a song, I have this deadline at the end of the month where I need to write a love song for my boss and if I don’t manage to write one, then there’s a possibility that I could lose my job.” Angel replied and Lucifer sat down beside her.
“Sounds like you do need my help.” Lucifer pointed out.
“So you write songs?” Angel raised an eyebrow while making eye contact with Lucifer.
“No…” Lucifer trailed off as he remembered the first song that Angel wrote. “But maybe I could help you find an inspiration.”
“Like?” Angel wondered and Lucifer stood up while offering a hand.
“Let me show you.” Lucifer smiled and somehow, Angel recognised his smile but couldn’t remember where she had seen it. "Are you sure it will help me?"
“I think it will.” He reassured making Angel nod and take his hand.
“Wait, you’re going like that?” Angel pointed at the cloak that Lucifer was wearing.
“Yeah why?” Lucifer answered and Angel shook.
“Nope, way too suspicious. People might start to question why you’re dress up like that plus all the attention that you can get.” Angel shook her head and Lucifer gave her a questioning look.
“We could just jump from roof to roof to avoid attention, I do it all the time.” Lucifer suggested.
“Maybe you can because you’re an Assassin but I don’t have your skills you know.” Angel commented.
“But there’s nothing wrong with what I’m wearing?” Lucifer stated.
“Yeah, no. You’re coming with me whether you like it or not and you are going to change your clothes.” Angel grabbed his hand so he won’t be able to escape.
Lucifer didn’t want to escape though, this is what he wanted all along. He wanted to spend time with Angel and catch up with all the years they’ve been separated from each other. Even though she can’t remember him, he is determined that they can start all over again and make new memories.
This time, he will make sure that he won’t make the same mistake ever again. When they got to the mall, everyone was staring at Lucifer, thinking that he was cosplaying.
“See, I told you so. Too much attention from the people around you.” Angel said and Lucifer shrugged.
“Why are they staring though?” Lucifer asked.
“Because you look like you’re cosplaying a hero or something.” Angel replied. “Wait, haven’t you walked to a mall before?”
“No, I only walk on streets where there’s no people. Usually I travel on the rooftops and don’t pay attention on people down on the ground.” Lucifer explained and Angel nodded in understanding.
“I see, that explains it. Now let's go, I want to know where you're taking me and see if it will really give me a song to write about.”
When they got to a men’s clothing, Angel picked up a suite and pants for Lucifer to try on then pushed him inside the changing room.
“Try them on, I think it will suit you.” Angel said and waited outside.
Lucifer stared at the clothes for a while before deciding to put it on. After he was done, he went outside and saw Angel waiting on a chair. When Angel saw him, she placed her thumb and pointy finger under her chin.
“Hmmm, too formal.” She commented and got another pair of clothes.
“You look like a gangster.” Angel said and got another clothes.
“Too tight.”
“Too loose.”
“Very shiny.”
“Nope, try this one.”
There were times where Angel would laughed at Lucifer and Lucifer will only give her a straight face. He didn't complain though because he at least get to see her happy with him.
“Still no.” After trying for a while, they still haven’t found the correct clothes. "What can you wear, what can you wear?"
Angel looked around properly until she saw something that could actually suit him. A black pants and a black leather zipper hoodie that has white t-shirt on the inside.
“Perfect…” Angel muttered and took the clothes then gave it to Lucifer.
When Lucifer finished changing, Angel knew that it was the perfect clothes for him.
“There, now you look like a normal person.” She commented while observing Lucifer from head to toe. "You look kinda cute as well."
Lucifer immediately blushed at what Angel said so he tried hiding it.
"W-whatever..." Lucifer stuttered making Angel giggle.
