I didn't know what to make out of that piece of information that the maid had handed out to me. Why did Griffith ask to see me and tonight of all nights at that? Plus, I had snuck out of my room to come and see Barrett without him knowing so did he know that I am here alone? Is that why he wanted to see me? Does he want to scold me or worse?
I am not in a good mood tonight. Barrett had scolded me and sent me out of his room without giving me a valid response as to why he was behaving in such a manner. He had even yelled at me. Tonight was the very first night that he had done something like that to me. I still couldn't believe it. My mind was still numb and trying to process everything.
