Mission 27 : Ask the Commander a Way to Go Home

THIS WOMAN, in front of him was a witch?

"Are you sure? She is a witch? " asked Grey. "Maybe he was just mistaken. Come on. Let's leave," he said to the captain who was not saying any words from her lips.

"What if he is right?" she asked in a slightly deep and darker tone of voice.

"If you were the summoned one, you will be needing this young lady over here. You need her to be on your side," the old man told him as a suggestion.

"That won't happen. Because you still doesn't know if I am the hero you are talking about," he said.

"We don't know. But I know that you know the truth," the old man utters.

That made him think. Yes. He knows that he wasn't really from this world. He was from the modern world. And there is a big possibility that he might be tge summoned hero they are talking about.

"I am a witch," said the captain in a low voice.

That made him stop and shocked. His eyes settled on hers trying to figure out if she was saying truth.

"You - - you were just joking, right?" he asked.

"I am a witch," she stated again. "I came from the line of witch that summoned the hero. I was supposed to be dead that time. Together with them. But someone saved me and told me that I should live. Because the hero will soon come to save the kingdom."

Is she for real? he asked himself in his thoughts.

"Let's go. The commander is waiting for us," she said and turned her back against.

The wall flipped and there was no more light again. Only darkness.

There were no utter of anything until they arrived at the entrance of that secret passage.

They rode once again in a carriage. The carriage stopped by after a few minutes. After a while, he heard the man in front went down.

After they felt that he was gone, the commander started talking.

"What's your name? " he asked him.

"Grey," he answered. It was hard to believe that he pronounced his name straight. He did not statter that time.

But he also could not believe that this man could not remember his name.

"Grey. You were not from this world? " he asked.

He nodded. Then the commander talked again.

"I have a question for you that I want you to answer honestly." He took a sigh. " Would you like to be the so called hero of Enchantria? "

There was a long silence.

"Let's say I don't believe partially," he said. He moved back, letting his back touches the back of the chair. " But I am betting my cards on you."

That was quite a surprise. The commander doesn't even know a single information about him. "Why?" he asked. "Why would you trust a stranger with it?"

"Because, " he paused and turned his head towards the captain who was sitting beside him. "Because the Captain of the first squad introduced you." He looked at him again. "I trust her and I know she knows when to trust her instincts."

The commander sighed. "So, what is your answer, Grey?"

Should he? Or not? But what is life, his second life, if he won't take tisks?

"What is it for me? If I agree and go with what you wiuld like. "

"If witches summoned you. Tgen maybe, we need a witch to sent you back home."

"Well - - " the vommander looked again to Amber. "I think we can ask a survivor for that," he said.

Based from what he is seeing right that moment were obvious. H3 thought tge commander already knew that Amber is a witch. But isn't that dangerous.

"It is okay, Grey , " Amber said upon reading his face. "The commander knew?"

This man is really dangerous. He have so many cards under him to play with. If he already know about her, then she is some how a trump card.

"He was the hero I am talking about. He was the hero back then that saved me. He helped me to hide until now," Amber said that made his his jaw dropped.

Amber slightly smiled while saying he was her hero.
