CHAPTER 5 Mission 5: Train To Be The Strongest "I JUST NEED TO GO HOME," he sighed as he slumped on that dirty floor inside the prison underground. "Did you perhaps question them?" said an old man that has a coarse voice from an across cell with no lights. Cells on that dungeon were made of stone like cage and with metal barriers that is as thick as baby' s wrist. No one can escape that easily with that design and structure. He cannot escape on that type of cell. He had never been in a prison cell all his life. Not until he came to that strange land of Enchantria. He can see the silhouette of that old man who just talk, though he can't see his face. His forehead crumpled. "What did they sentenced you?" the old man asked again. "I don't know," he answered, not really sure what to answer. "What did you do?" he asked again. "I talked to the princess?" he said, unsure if that is really his sin. "Ah. They're going to chop your head off," said the old man. "Wh--what? But I just saw her face. Why would they behead me?" That's kind of barbaric way. He just saw the princess' face. Why would they give him such heavy punishment? "Curious, eh?" the old man spoke. "Are you also starting to get curious about why is that? Well, it's better to question them, rather than seeing the princess' face. Because you'll only end up like my state." "Why would they hide such a pretty face? There's nothing wrong with that?" The old man snickered. "Yeah, she got the face of an angel. But don't you know that the queen is prettier?" he said, nodding. "Her mother? Of course, who would she inherit such pretty face from?" A guffaw escaped the old man's lips, making him cough in too much amusement. "No. No. No. The queen who disappeared. The queen who was loved by the whole kingdom, yet was forgotten ." He has heard this this story before. No. He has read this story before. It was the book under his pillow that he read at their house. The one he couldn't read the final and just even c****x. Questions started to pop on his mind. Everything is becoming puzzle that he doesn't even know look question. "Who are you?" he asked. The old man's face move forward, revealing half of his face. His smirk showed up under the dim lights coming from those fainting candle lamps. "Just a crazy old man that's locked for life." He was about to asked him again when he heard metal boots taking its step down the stairs of the way to the dungeon. It was Rojjan who came to set his foot in front of his cell. "You're out, Gugrey." He was supposed to be happy that he's finally going out. But what the hell did this general named him? "It's Grey." "Just move," he ordered. "Consider yourself lucky. I should've been the one to cut your head off. But the princess personally asked for you to be spared." "Really? " His right eyebrow raised. Did she perhaps fell for him? He knows he is charming. He even had his looks from the modern world, where women would dive on his arms too many times. He began walking but his feet stopped where he heard the old man. He tried looking inside but still he couldn't see him. "Don't mind who is inside. He's just a crazy old man who keeps talking nonsense," Rojjan said. They continued walking until he once again saw the daylight. "Thanks by the way," he mumbled. "You should thank the princess. Not me. Because I should've cut your head the moment you saw her." "Take me to her then so I can say my gratitude personally, " he said, smiling. But then he glared at him, making him to shut his lips. "Or maybe not. Please tell her I said thank you." Rojjan stopped but did not turned around to face him. "Could you keep it to yourself?" Rojjan mumbled. "About what you saw. I mean, keep to yourself that you saw her." "Yeah?" It's making him curious. Why would they don't want anyone to know? "I personally want to have a deal with you. Actually, it's a proposal I'm offering to you." He put all his ears towards him. It is a deal and he always listen to those kind of things. "I'm transferring you to a better squad. The number one squad of our men. Those who were given top priority to train and be the strongest. They were our best men. If you get stronger, I'll send you again to slay the dragon. If you happen to survive and be the one who can cut off the dragon's head, I'll give you your greatest wish." Grant his greatest wish ? Why not? A corner of his lips went up. His eyes brightened up in excitement. "Sure. Lead the way," he answered. Rojjan continued walking and he followed. They arrived behind the castle. It was a vast uphill with a green plain grassland. Men were doing some military training routine lead by a platoon leader. Others were running in circles while some were training with their swords. "Welcome to the elite training ground ," Rojjan uttered. It was really far different from the training ground he came from. It was far more serious than what he saw before. His head turned to where a short shrill of squeak was heard. It was a tall woman in his early thirties. She was fair and has a soft white skin. Her hair was a long golden yellow tied in a ponytail. She was wearing a cute dress of a french style bright cloth. She was slumped on the grass while trying to get hold of a man' hand. The man on a battle suit looks younger than the woman. He is smaller too. He has long eyelashes and strong eyes. If it wasn't for his hair and armor, he could be considered a girl. "Amber! Please!" the woman begged in a sharp tone. "Stop it, Aisel ! This is not the time for you to play around," the man said, trying to pull his hand away from her. "Captain!" Rojjan called for one of them. The two looked at their direction. The man took the chance to escape from the woman's grip and took a step ahead of her. He gently bowed to Rojjan. "General Commander Rojjan," he greeted. So this is the Captain of the first squad, he thought. On the other hand, the woman stood up and move behind the Captain. "This is Captain Amber of the first squad. And this is Vice Captain Aisel," Rojjan introduced them. Really? That woman is the Vice Captain of an elite squad? But he never heard that a woman was allowed to join the war. Maybe because it was an elite group so they gave a special case for the woman named Aisel. "This is Gugrey. He will be in your care from now on. I want you to train this weakling," he said. "It's Grey. Not Gugrey," he corrected. "I am looking forward to work with you." "I will leave you guys so I can check the others," Rojjan said as he left. The Captain looked at him firmly from head to toe. "Your limbs are quite small. I see you cannot carry heavy objects. General Commander is right. You're really a weakling." He turned around to face Aisel. "I'll give you the responsibility on training him for now. I will get going. I need to check on others too. Excuse me," Aisel said. Amber, on the other hand, smiled to him sweetly. She is a woman and very cute. But why isn't he reacting? He couldn't feel his normal reaction with women. "Hmm, your legs are very soft. Even the muscles on your arms looks like can be teared easily," she said as she was pressing his muscles slightly. "I will make you the strongest. First, let's train your strength," she said and handed him an umbrella. "What am I going to do with this?" he asked. "Hold it still. Make shade for me. Make sure that the sun wont touch my beautiful skin, okay? " She even winked. She took her seat on the grass while watching calmly how the other men train. Wait! Is he just going to hold this umbrella for this childish vice captain? How is this even a training? How will he get stronger with that kind of lousy activity?
