CHAPTER 19 Mission 19: Tell the truth to the Captain "WE ARE BACK! " Aisel waved to the guys who were chaotically sitting near the roasting area by Grey's house's yard. Habeck was grilling some big chicken legs that he doubted if it was really a chicken. Well, he just transported to Enchantria, which is a magical place. So, that can be considered as a chicken. Amber and Dio was seriously having a competition on cutting ingredients abt the wooden table nearby. So, they finally talked things out. "Where are the yellow onions that I asked you?" Habeck asked them. "We actually - - " Grey started. "The thing is, we found few of those. But I fell to the the cliff by the waterfalls and dropped all the onions at the bottom of that water. We could not swim to its bottom. And even if we can, you wouldn't want to have wet onions, right?" Aisel said. "Wow!" Habeck commented. " That was quite an interesting story." Amber and Dio also looked at them unbelievably. Then continued to finish chopping. "Is that so? So, would you mind fininshing the grilling you two for not getting any onion, " Habeck ordered them. "Sure, Sir!" Aisel salutes. "I'll just get some liquor. You two, prepare our fire after you chop those," he ordered Amber and Dio. They nodded and finished their work to do another thing. Habeck went inside their house after handling Aisel the tongs. He was about to help in grilling but Aisel spoke up. "Why don't you help Amber to make a fire?" he asked him. "Hey guys, Grey will be starting the fire, " he said to the two who were picking up the chunks of firewoods. " You might want yo try making fire again. You already observe d me earlier." "Well ... " "It's your chance to tell her," Aisel whispered. "Hey! Would you mind helping me here?" he asked his cousin. "Oh ! Here we go again," Dio answered. " You are worse than a woman nagging and ordering around," he mumbled. "Are you saying something? " Aisel asked as he raised his right brow. "Nothing! I said I'm going to help you," Dio said and grabbed the tongs from him. Why do these two fight like husband and wife? His forehead crumpled. "Let me carry those," he said to Amber. "Let me. I am stronger than you even I'm not a real man," Amber said. "Okay." He gave her a way. " How was talking to Dio?" he asked. She shrugged her shoulders. " I think I can trust him, " she said while aranging the firewoods to create a bonfire. "Can I try making a fire? The vice - captain showed me how to make one," he presented. " You sure? " she asked. "Yup," he answered. He bent down and started to imitate what Aisel did earlier. As soon as smoke arises, he bowede even more so he can blow it gently. It started to build a fire. And he was so excited. It was the first fire he did. He didn't even know he was smiling as he sat down to watch it. "Why are you smiling? Did that small fire gave you that happiness?" she asked. "Well, ahmm ... " he cleared his throat. "You have something to say?" she asked again. "Captain? " "Hmm?" "Can I tell you something?" "What is it?" "It's a little more serious than what you discovered with me." "Why? You have more secrets to tell?" "It's not that I'm really keeping this. It's just that I am afraid of what could possibly be happen," he said in a low voice. "Go on. What is it? " she asked. Unconsciously, he took a glance at Aisel. Aisel looked back at him and nodded, signaling that he must go on. He needs to take risk. He needs to talk to her while it is early. He doesn't know anyone in that world. So, he needs some people to trust to. He cleared his throat before speaking up. "What if I wasn't really from this world? Would you believe that? " For a minute, she just stares at him before speaking up. "You are from another world?" "I'm from a world ... a modern world , which is far too different from your world, Enchantria. The last thing I remember is that after the accident, I woke up here. I don't know anything. And now, I am asking you, please believe me. I am not a traitor nor someone that bad. Sometimes I feel like I am somehow a summoned hero to your world, " he narrated. "If what you were saying were true, you need to develop your powers the soonest." "You believe me? " he asked unbelievingly. "It is hard to believe, but after witnessing many incidents where you are somehow strange, I think I can believe you a little. You can see a pixie. You can manipulate water element that only royals can. You were acting weird in almost every manner." He smiled at how she describe him. "Will you stop smiling? " she hissed. "Why? " he asked but though she won't answer, her red face showed what he did. Well, nothing really change for him. He still have the looks and charms in him that attracts women around him. He was a player after all. But why does he seems to be a good person here? Is he really a hero? Is he supposedly do good deeds in this world? "Who knows?" she asked, diverting him to other topic. "Well, Vice - Captain told me to tell and trust you after he found out about it." "How about your cousin?" "I don't think so. He's a little bit talkative. " "I think not. He even swear that he won't tell anyone about finding out I am a woman." "That's it? He just swore?" She nodded. "What made you think he'll keep it?" "Because I also know something about him." Amber looked to where the two were grilling. "About them." That made him crumpled his forehead. "About them? What about them?" "Well, you must tell him who you really are. And you'll know what I'm talking about. " His curiousity is killing him. What is she talking about? " "How about your father? Does he know?" she asked. "I guess no. He didn't asked ever since I arrived. I don't think he has doubted me. " "You should also tell him," she said and looked at Habeck who were hold some bottles of alcoholic drinks. Amber got up. " It's better to surround yourself with friends and people who will trust you. That way, you will survive in this world."
