CHAPTER 16 Mission 16: Repay the Kindness WITH a tingling excruciating headache, Grey slighty sat down from his deep sleep. His body though is not suffering from pain. Only his head that is suffering from hang over. He was never a drunkard. He doesn't even even drink more than three glass for he is really a light drinker. But he was forced to drink that much last night. This is what he doesn't like when he drinks. This hang over. He looked around to see that he fell asleep on the living room of their house. Some of the things that happened last came rushing in his head. On the other hand, Habeck came to where he is. "Oh! Good morning! Wake the others. Let's have some coffee to sober you up, " he said before leaving the living room and went to the kitchen. Yes. He could smell the aroma of the freshly brewed coffee from there. It soothed withing his nostrils and gave him a calmly vibe. He looked around to see that Amber and Dio beside him is gone. Actually, he doesn't remember that Amber slept with them. That girl has a higher tolerance of alcohol than him. "Where could they be?" he mumbled. He stood up by his bedroom's door and knocked. He remembered, Aisel were the one slept on his room for he insisted that he couldn't sleep with their snores. He knocked once again. But then , no one answered. "Breakfast is ready, " he said. He knocked for the third time. Slowly, he twisted the door knob and it opened. He walked inside to see that there are few clothes scattered on the floor. "What the hell happened here? " he mumbled as he took a few more steps towards the bed. "Dio? " he said in a louder shocked voice. Dio, who was lying beside Aisel, on the same bed, slowly opened his eyes and blinked. "Grey? Grey! It's not - - " he panicked. Aisel also opened his eyes. It was Dio that he saw first. That made them shouted in chorus. "Ahh!" "Ahh!" They both looked at each other's bare chest. And once again, shouted. Aisel raised his leg and kicked Dio out of the bed. That made a loud thud on the floor. But thank goodness, his cousin was wearing pants. "Damn ! Why did you kicked me?" Dio shouted. "Why are you in my bed? " Aisel answered back. "Ahmm - - " Grey raised his hand to get their attention. "What?" Aisel asked angrily. "Well, actually, it's not yours. It's my bed," he stated. "What's happening here? " Habeck came rushing. "I heard a loud thud. You guys okay?" They just all nodded. It just feel weird that three of them were there. "Okay. Time to eat. Let's go kids. " They fixed themselves immediately and went straight to the kitchen. But then, Dio and Aisel never talked until they were seated. Amber were already at the dining table sipping her cup of coffee. Actually, she was there quite a while now. She is already sipping the other half of his cup. "Morning," she greeted. "Did you slept well? Where did you - - - " "Yeah. I slept beside you guys. Don't worry. It's not that I'm uncomfortable with sleeping with guys. Not because I'm a woman. I grew up being a man. So, no worries, " she whispered. "It's just that I woke up early if you were looking for me." She looked up at Habeck who was busy serving them coffees. "Can I have another cup, Sir? " she asked, handling over her empty cup. Habeck's forehead crumpled. "Again?" "Yes, please." "You sure, you won't palpitate?" he asked. "You have been drinking since you went out." "Went out?" Grey asked. "Yeah. I jogged this morning. I have yo keep my legs in good condition." "But it's our day off," he said. "So?" "Here's your coffee, " Habeck gave her a cup. "Thanks," she answered. "No problem. But since it's your free day, would you like to offer a little help to this old man? " he referred to himself. "Perfect. It was a payment for staying the night here," he said. "Just small stuffs. Like washing the dishes, sweeping the floor, waxing the stairs, cleaning the yard, and chopping that pile of trunks there, " he pointed the unchopped trunks outside their house. Grey nodded and crossed his arms on his chest. Yes ! That'll be perfect, he thought. "When I say you guys, I mean all of of you. Including you, Grey, " Habeck said. "What? No! " he said, slightly shocked. "Yes. You are," Habeck said. Damn! He thought he was excluded. They made draw lottery to who will clean the inside and outside of the house. They made sticks of shorts and longs. Dio and Aisel picked the short ones, which means that they were assigned to clean the house. While Grey and Amber picked the long sticks and that means they are in charge of the yard. He wonders what's going on between the two of them. Is love between men were also accepted here in a fantasy world? Are they really lovers? "Just sit down and let me do the job, " Amber insisted and began to roll her sleeves. She picked up the axe and put a piece of wood by the chopping trunk. "No. No can help. Even just a little. I can - - whoa! " he stopped. Amber just swayed the axe on the wood. With a single strike, it was cut into two. Is she really a woman? With a strength like that, it's hard to believe. "Just sit down and learn from me, fragile one," she said. "I know, you don't do these kind of work." He looked at Dio and Aisel from the windows. They were more like arguing rather than cleaning. "Am I that useless? " he asked while staring at the two. "Well, that two is more like more useless, don't you think?" she said. He stare at them. Even Amber stopped chopping the woods. Dio was busy hanging the washed clothes that they doubt if it was really washed for it still has stains on it. While Aisel was on the shade, fanning herself while telling Dio what to do. Dio was mad for that . He was arguing for he was the only one doing the job. "Why am I the only one doing it all? Would you mind giving me your hand?" Dio said. "Why would I? " Aisel answered as he brushed off the hairs on his forehead. Dio's face turned to red. He reached out the clothes he was hanging and threw at Aisel. "Now, I'm pissed off! " Dio attacked Aisel. But Grey just laugh at them. "Yup. I think they could give more trouble than help, " he commented. Amber did not answer. So, he turned around to see her. But she was not standing there anymore. She was at the ground, lying unconscious. "Amber?" he kneeled down to check on her. "Amber! " Dio and Aisel stopped arguing upon hearing him shouted. "Is she okay?" Aisel asked. "She's breathing. I think that's a good thing," he said. Without hesitation, he carried her inside the house and lay her down on his bed. Habeck also came to help. But there was nothing to worry about. Though, she has a little fever. Habeck told them that she haven't sleep last night. That' s why. Yet, she was forced to be hard working. "Hey, Grey, " Dio said. "Yes?" "Is captain a woman?" Dio asked while staring at the captain's chest. It was a little crumpled down. And her chest was almost revealed. His breathing stopped as he looked at Aisel, asking him for a help.
