Mom had always worked as a Data Analyst. Reading and researching were here thing. Unfortunately, she'd chosen not to do this when her mother had told her stories about our werewolf ancestry, or even after she had died. She'd simply opened up Violet's journal to the last entry, read it, and come to her own conclusions. It was too hard for her to believe anything different, and it had hardened her heart and strained our relationship. Her relationship with men had also become strained, and I'd learnt from a young age that I should never ask about my father.
