Unexpectedly Mated.

Chapter Seven: Autumns POV.

I spent the past half an hour with my head in the toilet bowl. After Hunter forcefully made me eat it had made me sick. My body wasn't use to consuming such a large amount of food. I understood he wanted me to eat but I was also furious that he wouldnt hear me out. I brushed my teeth, stripped down and put a baggy tshirt on before climbing in bed. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.

I awoke to sunlight beaming through the gap in the curtain. Stretching, that was the best sleep I've EVER had. I mean, compared to cardboard lol. Deciding it was time to get up I showered and got dressed in a yellow sun dress that flowed just bellow my knees and some strappy sandals that I'm assuming one if the girls left on the bed for me.

I made my way towards the kitchen to give the other omegas a hand preparing breakfast for the pack. Hunter hasn't spoken that much to me since we've come back to his pack so right now I don't know what's expected of me so I try my hardest to blend in and not cause any attention.

Soon the pack dining room was bursting with chatter and people stuffing their faces. I looked around and noticed Hunter hadn't come in yet so I stacked a plate of pancakes with maple bacon, scrambled eggs and orange juice and decided to take the food to him. As much as I was intimidated by this man I needed to know what my purpose being here was, and to thank him for also freeing me from Caleb.

I made my way down the hallway until I found myself outside of his office. Hearing his voice raised I gnawed on the inside of my cheeks deciding whether or not to interrupt him. Taking the easy way out I turned to leave when he bellowed "What do you want, little mate."

I tried to soothe the pounding in my chest as I reached for the handle, turning it and slowly entering..

Head bowed "I'm sorry to disturb you Master, but I noticed you weren't in the dining room this morning and thought perhaps you'd enjoy your breakfast in your office." I kept my head low as I placed the tray on his desk.

Hunter stood up and walked around his desk until her was stood in front of me. He reached out and lifted my chin with his fingers sending electric shocks through out my body. I gasped.

"Look at me".

Tears began to form in my eyes as I lifted my head, looking him directly in my eyes. An emotion flashed across his face that I wasn't too familiar with. Concern. Why would this man be concerned about me. Don't get me wrong I understand that I'm his mate, but I'm also a nobody. He should do everyone a favor and reject me.

I couldn't contain myself any longer "Why am I here? I'm no one of importance and yet you saved me from my abuser. Which I am so grateful for. Thank you. But why did you do it? I was invisible. No one would have missed me."

His mood instantly changed and I could feel anger radiating of him. He removed his hand and turned away walking back behind his desk before sitting down carrying on with his work.

"You're dismissed. Close the door on your way out."

I couldn't believe this arrogant man. He's not obliged to give me answers but it's the least he could do, right? What a tool! I left his office and headed towards the back yard. I needed to let some steam off and I'm sure Aurora could do with a run right now.

Hunters POV.

I was heatedly discussing business with another pack when her sweet scent filled my nostrils. I waited for her to enter but she hesitated. Slamming the phone down "what do you want, little mate." It wasn't suppose to come out as arrogant but unfortunately it did.

"I'm sorry to disturb you Master, but I noticed you weren't in the dining room this morning and thought perhaps you'd enjoy your breakfast in your office."

She was perfect. Too perfect for me. I had been trying to create distance between us because I didnt deserve a soul as pure as hers. I'm a monster. And I didn't want to risk hurting her. She had became my world. All I could think about was her. The way my soul craved her attention, my body craving her touch.

I couldn't stop myself, before I knew it I was in front of her lifting her gaze to mine.Her eyes were the most beautiful stormy grey I hid ever seen. I wanted to kiss her right now, to mark her and claim her as mine. To have her bear our pups. I wanted everyone to know she was mine and mine only.

But.. I could never be the man she wanted or needed.

I was fighting an internal battle and if I wasn't careful I'd lose. She stared at me waiting for an answer. If I'm honest I didn't even know she had said anything. But f**k it, I needed to push her away.

"You're dismissed. Close the door on your way out." I grunted before turning back to my desk and finishing paper work. She paused before leaving. I couldn't help myself but to look up, her perfectly round ass jiggling as her curvy hips swayed. f**k me this was gonna be hard. But it was for her own good. Or so I kept telling myself.

I didn't even realize how long I had actually been in the office. Looking at the clock as it struck 10pm. Jason and Julien had left a couple hours ago to attend to their mates. As I climbed the stairs to my floor, I found myself walking in the opposite direction. I opened the door slowly, peaking inside my beautiful little mate was asleep, with a soft snore escaping her pouty lips. I couldn't stop the smile that crept across my mug. I entered her room and just watched her sleeping. It was the most beautiful sight. It didnt take long before I decided to climb in bed next to her. Imagine my surprise when she rolled over and snuggled into my side. Shadow was howling out of excitement and I don't blame him. What a perfect way to end a s**t day I thought as I drifted off.
