The meeting went well, after the completion of the meeting there were series of questions and answers and a lot of brainstorming done to come up with a really effective plan for the success of the project. Jake was all about business when it comes to work and his company.We were about to sign the deal when Jake said, " Before going ahead i have a special need for this project", the look on his face was devious and challenging, "yes Mr. Frank, how can we help you out here", Charlie chimmned in."It's something that Rachel could help me out with, as I would be working on this project, i want Rachel to work with me as my co-partner, and not just in the project but with me in my office".I was a little surprised as this was never been discussed earlier, but from the business point of view it was an excellent opportunity, the look on Jake's face was describing a different story, altogether well bring it on, i am never the one to back out from challenges. "I will be ok to take it up Mr. Frank, let's seal the deal", Charlie was gawking at me as if i have gone nuts but he knows me too well to understand this.We signed the deal and my work begins with Jake from tomorrow, but Jake was too excited about the deal, more so then me...n looking at his excitement I was a little nervous and had this flutter in my stomach that what have I signed up for?It was pretty clear that Jake had ulterior motives apart from work..

Well I had this feeling of happiness and excitement at the recent turn of events in last few hours of my life.

Well, now there is certainly a hope of something adventurous in my life so I would say..."Bring it on".

That evening, i was in the mood for some quesadillas and enchiladas made by my one and only Brett, so I visited his apartment for the dinner. The vibe which brett's place has is really amazing, i really like to spend my time at Brett's place as he has the view of the famous Newyork's BROOKLYN BRIDGE, which one can die for. " Hey Rach, will you have some wine or beer to go with or your secret admirer to go with your Mexican?"

Brett really knows how to pull my leg a little too well, "I'll go with a chick you had in your room, before me visiting you"..and the look on Brett's face says that i have had him there...yo! Rachel 1/ Brett 0. Brett had this sheepish grin on his face,"well there might be something more this time, but hey it's not about me right now, tell me about your secret admirer". I had this huge smile on my face with the words that Brett just spoke, i am really happy that he is taking some effort and investing himself emotionally with someone."I don't know Brett, what am I supposed to say on this but Jake is different, the vibe that i get from him since the moment I have seen him is something that cannot be explained, i had this pull towards him since the moment we saw each other and the fact that now he is my business partner just changes everything". "Well the pull was quite evident given the way you acted towards him at PLUSH, it was so unlike you Rach, we all were surprised by your actions but I was glad that for a few moments we got you back there. I would say if you feel a connection just go for it Rach, you never know what it turns out to be". Well Brett exactly knows how he has to convince me for this,"you have been in your shell since a year, you need to get back in the game girl, you just cannot stay a nun your entire life right, put your brains and your sexy looks at some use".Oh my god, how can I forget that Brett can be sensible at times but no one can bear his potty mouth, "Shut up! you smartass", "hey what? if Max would have been here with us he would have said the same thing to you, wouldn't he?, In fact he would have also given you his peace of mind for hanging on to that crap for so long".

Max Carter, my brother from another mother.Since my childhood, i always wished that i had a sibling of my own. Being a single child, it has its perks but few drawbacks as well, whenever I use to see Jenny and Brett together, i use to miss that bond in my life, but it's said that God has his ways to fill the gaps of your life, and Max is that person who filled that gap in my life and i can proudly say that he is my brother, all relations need not be blood.
