At eighteen, my life is a balancing act of real-world pressure and digital escapes. I’m navigating the stress of senior high school graduation, waiting on university admission lists, and drowning in a real-life relationship that leaves me completely drained. To save my own sanity, I turn my phone face down and pour my heart into my talent: writing raw, passionate romance web novels.I thought my words only existed on a screen. I thought nobody was truly listening.Until a breakout UK rap superstar stumbles onto my story.Driven by the fierce, chaotic energy of the London music scene, he is used to getting everything he wants. But when he accidentally crosses paths with my world, he realizes the girl behind the keyboard is the one lyric he can't get out of his head. Can a regular girl handle the high-stakes, flashing lights of a superstar's reality—or will the secrets of my past ruin my chance at a real-life fairytale?

Chapter 1: The Blueprint
My name is Karen Right now, to the rest of the world, I’m just an eighteen-year-old girl who recently finished senior high school. I’ve faced JAMB, and right now, I’m about writing my Post-UTME exams to secure my way to the university. It’s a lot of waiting, a lot of pressure, and a lot of looking at admission lists. But while I’m doing all of that, I already have a talent for creativity and writing. Instead of just letting the days pass me by, I thought of engaging myself into writing. Specifically, writing about myself and my love life. I already know what some people will be thinking. What does an eighteen-year-old girl can write about her love life? What could she possibly know about it yet? But anyhow... I’m doing that. Because to truly understand where I am today, you have to know how it all started. It all started just before I wrote my WAEC exams. That was when I met him. He was incredibly handsome, the kind of guy who caught your attention immediately. We exchanged numbers and contact details, and it wasn’t long before we started introducing ourselves to each other, peeling back the layers. I told him about my world—how much I loved music, and how I constantly spent my time writing out my imagination. As he told me about himself, I was amazed by how much we had in common. It felt effortless. Within a few weeks, we started dating. Not long after that, our relationship crossed a line. We started having s*x. Deep down in my heart, I knew I wasn't supposed to be doing it, but I did it anyway. I did it because I loved him, and when you're in deep, love makes you ignore the warnings in your own head. But reality catches up fast. A few months later, the truth hit me: I was pregnant. The fear was paralyzing, but I knew I couldn't hide it. I went to my mom and told her everything. I told her I was pregnant for him. The heartbreak in the room was instant. She was incredibly angry, and she cried tears that cut right through me. Through the pain, she told me to invite the boy over to the house. When he arrived, my mother confronted him directly with the truth. She asked him if he knew me, and to his credit, he didn't deny it. He admitted everything. He looked her in the eye and said yes, he had s*x with me.
