Angela stood outside the small house, looking around slowly. The place was quiet. Trees surrounded the area, and the nearest neighbor’s house was very far away. The wind was soft, but the silence around her made it feel heavier. She took a deep breath and looked at the little wooden steps before walking inside. As soon as she stepped in, she saw Mila carrying a pile of folded clothes in her arms. “Angela, Sorry, I shouted at you earlier.” Mila said Angela gave a small nod. “It’s okay,” she said softly. Mila walked toward her and handed her the clothes. “Here.
