The taxi stopped in front of the hospital entrance. Mila jumped out and ran around to open the back door. Edgar was unconscious, his head leaning against the seat, his breathing short and uneven.
"Help! Please!" Mila shouted as she waved at the nurses near the entrance. "He needs help! Please, now!"
A nurse rushed over with a stretcher, and two others followed closely behind.
"What happened?" the nurse asked as they lifted Edgar onto the stretcher.
"He just collapsed. He said his chest hurt. I think it’s his heart!" Mila explained, panic shaking her voice.
"Alright, ma’am, we’ll take it from here," the nurse said calmly. "We’re bringing him to the emergency room now."
