Thomas' POV
*Two Days Ago*
Why hasn't she texted me back yet? I know she wouldn't back out of a deal like this unless she was forced to. I trust her with my life and would give up anything, even my life, for her.
'Sorry, I was at my favorite place and lost track of time.' She finally texted making me sigh in relief.
'Are we still on this weekend?'
'I wouldn't miss it for the World. Just have to figure out a way to get rid of my trail.'
'Good, I can't wait to see you again. You're my everything baby.'
'Then you better be prepared for tonight, you're in for a wild ride.'
'I can't wait.'
"Who you texting babe?" I heard my fiancee ask making me internally groan.
"Just my second in command, there was an issue with a shipment." I lied making her get off my ass.
"Do you need to go back to LA and fix it?"
"Yeah, I'm sorry I have to leave on such a short notice." I mumbled while kissing her shoulder.
"Don't worry about it, as long as I can have company while you're gone." She said suggestively making me know it would be someone her pimp brings for her.
"Whatever you want my love. I will try to be back tomorrow."
"Don't rush, I'd rather the situation get solved than have you get killed."

*Now*
Mac's POV
"What do you mean you lost him?!" I screamed at the guy who was supposed to be watching Thomas.
"You had one job while I was gone!"
"I-I'm sorry, I don't know what happened. The network crashed and by the time our eyes got there he was gone."
"Leave before I kill you." I gritted out at the surveillance group before I changed my mind.
"Kitten calm down, it was a simple mistake." Aaron tried to reason making me pissed.
"We are about to call war on his gang, how the f**k are we going to do that without a location?! It's not just your life in danger!" I screamed before pushing him out of the room and locking the door.
I sat down in front of the monitors, rewatching the feed before it was cut off. Carefully zooming in to see if I could find the slightest clue that could lead to where he went or who he was with. After countless angles and cameras I found something that could lead me to him.
When the cameras came back on there was still a leg in view. Looking at the shoe I instantly knew who it was and deleted the tape. Nobody but me can find out about this or people will die.
-- -- --
"Sam, I want you to look after Aaron. Nothing happens to him got it?"
"Of course Mac. But what is all of this about? You just got back why are you leaving again?" Sam asked curiously, knowing I was up to something.
"I'm just trying to speed things up before things get too messy. Aaron has his parents back, we have our family. I am going to make sure everything goes smoothly so you better do the same." I said sternly making him nod in understanding.
"Stay safe sis."
"You too."
I can already tell that the next time I come back everything will be different. A 'war' will be starting and the plan will be in motion, I just need to put the final pieces together.
-- -- --
"So the cat's out of the bag?"
"Not now Eugene, this is code black and I mean business." I said sternly before walking into my office.
"Ah, Miss Phoenix." He casually said as he turned around in my chair.
"You shouldn't be here. I said wait for three more days."
"Now Phoenix you know I can't do that."
"I have been going along with your plan for three years! The least you can do is wait three more god damn days so I can get my men ready. My family has eyes on the target and the demons are doing as asked. This will be an in and out thing if you give me time to put the pieces together!" I explained passionately.
"Aren't you tired of living a lie? Lying to the people you care about? For once put yourself above others and move out now." He tried to convince me but I wouldn't budge.
"Your family has dreamt of this for over twenty years, so let me do what I do best and let me handle it without pushing this. Perfection takes time and it's only a little under 72 hours from that. And if I say no in three days I give you permission to kill me." I bargained, feeling confident.
"You know I could never hurt you Phoenix, you're forever and always mine." He gently whispered in my ear making me roll my eyes.
"Horse s**t. Do you know how many people have said that to me? Yet alone how many people you've said that to."
"But how many times have we meant it? You know damn well we've said it to many people because of being undercover. But in three days we won't have to pretend anymore, we can finally be together."
"But what if I've been playing you too? Never trust an assassin." I whispered before heading towards the door.
"Ivy.... Ivy proves that you aren't trying to play me. You could have gotten rid of her but instead you gave me a choice. And I chose both, and I know you did too. Macey, please just stay with us. You are our everything and she misses you like crazy. She wants to see her mom again."
I stopped walking and turned to face him. For the first time in years I saw tears in his perfect sea blue eyes. For once in what feels like forever, he let his guard down and showed raw emotion through his eyes. The man I fell in love with when I was fifteen finally coming out since his mom abandoned him.
"Forever and always." I whispered into his chest as I hugged him.
-- -- --
"Okay so this is the blueprint for the entire mansion. At seven he wakes up in his bedroom, which is located here at the East wing. It's the third room on the left after you get on floor number seven. At 7:06 he comes out of his room and makes his way to the third floor kitchen, he always takes the stairs. As soon as it's eight he goes back to his room to shower. This is when we will turn off the power.
The power generator will take precisely three minutes to turn on. During this time team Alpha will take out the guards while team Delta takes out the security systems. After the generator comes on Team Beta will secure all exits and set up a perimeter around the house so nobody escapes. Finally, team sigma will join Delta and Alpha to secure the inside. I will go and find the target as soon as we get there since I can get in no questions asked. Any questions about the plan?"
After a moment of silence someone from team Delta raised their hand. "What is it?"
"What security system are we looking at?"
"It's a system I have never seen before. I managed to reprogram it a bit while I was there and I checked it a day ago just to make sure nobody caught it. I had to rewrite a big part of the system so that a single word could completely shut down and erase the system. All you have to do is get past the firewall and use the word Phoenix to shut it all down."
"How long have you been working on this plan? You thought out every aspect and kept thorough logs."
"I've been planning this since I was seventeen. Although the security system, timelines and blueprints were gathered over the past few months."
"Do you mind if I ask a personal question?" Team Alpha's captain asked.
"Depends how personal."
"What did these people do for them to be on your Hit list at such a young age?"
"Let's just say they are the ones that hurt the love of my life." I said, smiling at the thought of them getting what they deserve after all this time.

Sam's POV
What does an assassin usually think about for fun? I mean do they always think about their target or do they miss their family? Maybe there's a healthy in between. But thinking about killing people isn't exactly what most would call normal.
"What are you thinking about Sam?" Aaron asked out of nowhere.
"Why do you like my sister? I mean there isn't exactly anything good about dating an assassin. When do you know if they are telling the truth or even feel a real connection with you?"
"At first I liked her for eye candy. But the day I saw her fighting I fell under a spell. The smile on her face, the gleam in her eyes, effortlessness of every single move she made, confidence, hell even her smell made me like her. Every aspect of her is just so appealing to me. And if she is pretending I don't mind because at least right now I have her, even if it is for a short while."
"So you wouldn't be upset if it were all a lie?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
"That's not what I'm saying at all. If she were to have been acting and called it off with me I would be upset, hell I might even cry. But this is a chance I had to take. I'd rather have her for a short time than to never have her at all. One day you'll know what it's like."
I'd prefer not to know your version Aaron.
"So where did your sister go?"
"She said something about final touches on the plan. If you ask me she's dedicated to making sure nobody gets hurt unless it is life or death. She plans on making it quick so the gang doesn't know what's going on." I explained vaguely, trying to act unimpressed.
"Doesn't she work with the mafia?"
"She's worked with them plenty of times but she doesn't work with the same people every day. Mac is what we call a free agent, she will work for anyone who offers a good price for her time. Not that it really matters. She plans to retire from the assassin life and settle somewhere permanently. I don't know where exactly but as long as she's happy I approve of it." I said confidently even though she is a pretty sketchy person.
"Yeah... As long as she's happy."

Mac's POV
"Team Alpha in position."
"Team Delta in position."
"Alright boys, I'm cutting the power in five... four... three... two...one."
I could hear screams and guards surround the outside. In no time all the guards were wiped out and our own replaced them. "Delta, you in?"
"Almost, give us ten more seconds."
I motioned for team Beta to join us while the nerds finished up with the system.
"You're all clear Phoenix." Delta called through the ear piece.
As soon as team Alpha opened the door I ran up the stairs and made my way towards Aarons room. As soon as I reached the door I knew something was off. Where is my family?
Carefully opening the door I saw Aaron passed out on the bed with Sam standing over him. Quickly walking to him I grabbed his hand. "Where's the rest of the family?" I whisper yelled at him.
"They already went to the safe house. Just hurry up and grab his feet so we can leave." Sam mumbled, grabbing Aarons arms.
"We have three minutes to get in the van before the alarms come back on." I informed Sam as we climbed down the stairs.
"Start running or we won't make it." Sam said, picking up speed as we towed Aaron.
"How long till the sedative rubs off?" I sighed as soon as we got into the van.
"Two hours. I gave it to him just before the lights went off. That should give us plenty of time to tie him up once we get there."
With that said we sat in silence the entire ride. Which was an hour and 45 minutes. As soon as our feet touched the gravel we sprinted to the torture room and tied him up. Careful not to cut him in the process. 'I'm sorry Aaron, you don't deserve what I just did to you.'
I sat in a chair watching Aaron as his peaceful face slowly turned into confusion, shock, and hatred. Once his gaze landed on me I noticed how hurt he was which made me look away as I mumbled 'I'm sorry.'
"Phoenix, someone would like to see you." I heard him announce as the door opened.
My heart melted as soon as I saw her, the definition of perfection. "Ivy."
"Momma!" She screamed happily as she ran towards me before jumping into my lap.
"How's my girl?" I mumbled into her hair as I rubbed her back.
"I'm thinking about dropping out of school." She announced with confidence.
"Why is that?"
"Second grade is too hard." She pouted making me roll my eyes.
"You are a Clark, Clark's don't give up. They push through even when you don't notice." I explained while I looked at Aaron. To say he looked heartbroken would be an understatement.
"There's someone I want you to meet." I picked up Ivy and slowly walked towards Aaron.
"Aaron, this is my daughter Ivy. Ivy this is my friend Aaron Black." I explained, making Aaron look at me confused.
"I got pregnant with Ivy when I was sixteen, I stopped going to school and taught myself security hacks and such. After she was born Louis bought his own house and I would sometimes visit but due to being Thomas' girlfriend he couldn't find out about her.
And I know you don't like me right now but I took you here to save you. Thomas will be storming into your house at any moment now with who knows how many fighters. I know your house in and out and so do my secret teams. The people I trust the most helped me kidnap you unknowingly so your usual guards will proceed like usual. The only difference is my guys are there too and will take out Thomas' gang.
Thomas will die and I want out of the gang. I doubt my family will resume their place so I want you to have both of them. I just want my family to live a normal life but if you need help I'm only one call away."
After spilling everything I looked into Aarons eyes. He seemed to understand everything pretty well.
"How long have you been undercover?" Aaron asked, slightly upset.
"Since I was homeless and looking after my brother." I admitted, slightly looking away from him.
"Why?"
"Not all of us can be ourselves Aaron. I had to hide all my life because of Thomas. He is the reason my mother because who she is, he is the reason my sister died, he forced Louis' mother to abandon him and he is why I stopped feeling." I explained irritatedly, looking at him coldly.
"You never stopped feeling, nobody can. I thought what we had was real, and I know it felt real to you."
"Face the facts Aaron, I have a family and there's nothing I want from you. My life is with Louis and Ivy forever and Always." I yelled threateningly as he started to piss me off.
"How long has Louis been undercover?" He asked me, clearly bored with the topic.
"The moment I asked him to when I figured out Thomas was behind everything."
"So time fame wise, what are we looking at?"
"Ten years." I huffed, showing my impatience.
"It took you ten years to put your revenge in motion?"
"Aaron, it took ten years to find you. I didn't want to kill all the people in this gang. There are over ten thousand of them. Mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, I'm not about to break a family apart. The moment I saw your profile I knew you would be the one to take over. You have enough experience and ambition, yet alone your legacy. People respect and know you, who greater to lead both gangs?" I carefully explained, finally calming down a little.
"Alright, just know if you need anything I am here for you, forever and Always."
-- -- --
"Boys, bring them in." I said into the walkie talkie as I sat at a table.
I heard the door open and eight sets of foot steps. Turning my head slightly I smirked at the three men staring at me with complete hatred.
"Ah, there's my favorite trio. Coopers, take a seat." They stood still, not moving an inch as I looked at them.
"No worries, my schedule is clear for the next few years. Take your time because I will definitely be taking mine." I smiled at them, crossing my legs and folding my hands on the table.
They stayed still for a few more hours until they finally got tired of standing. I looked at them carefully before deciding to proceed.
"So Lenny, tell me how long you've known." I asked casually, while giving Louis the signal to join us.
"Known what?" He asked, trying to play dumb.
"Don't play stupid." Louis said making me roll my eyes.
"Ignore him. But you know what I'm taking about Lenny." I raised my brow and took off my sunglasses. "Tell me."
"Five months, that's why I sent your foster family to get the shipment. If you kill someones sense of family they will run back to their shells. Or in your case, Thomas."
"It's really pathetic how stupid you guys are, it almost makes me feel sorry for you guys." I admitted, looking into the distance. "Louis explain to these idiots why they are wrong."
"You missed obvious clues that we don't work for you. They may have been pretty spaced out but there were many periods of time where we didn't report to you. For instance, around eight years ago Mac went to a training camp you had never heard of before. You didn't even try to look into it, you just agreed because you thought she would never betray you. For well over ten years she has also been keeping tabs on two very specific people and you failed to notice that.
You also gave each of us our own armies, putting us in charge of thousands of people and gaining their trust. I am also the one that recommended recruiting her and you never once looked into our connection to each other. All of those mistakes have cost you your lives."
"Why would your relationship with Mac need to be under investigation?" Thomas asked, finally looking up from his feet.
"So you would catch the clues that I have been lying this entire time. You see Louis and I go way back. When I was a kid I would always go to the park in the middle of the night and at the time Louis lived there. He was running away from the foster system and had just recently started sleeping in one of the slides.
We instantly became friends and after a few months I let him meet my brother. Ever since then we were practically inseparable. And the reason I told you I got accepted into a training camp is because I got pregnant." I said the last part, looking into Thomas' eyes, showing him I never felt anything for him.
"So the moral of what my girlfriend is saying is that we have been playing you. The moment you accepted me into this gang you were doomed, you just didn't know it yet." Louis finished with a victorious smile.
What a drama queen. I smiled at Louis before looking at Falcon.
"Alright, now where to begin with you Falcon, or should I say Robert?" I watched as Lenny looked at Falcon confused.
"Oh he didn't tell you? His real name is Robert Lee Camino. My research team has found a lot of interesting things out about him that you probably don't know then. Like the fact he is married to a lovely lady named Tasha Sebring. They have four kids, five including Thomas. Did you know Robert faked Thomas' death just to give you a heir? Pretty ballsy if I say so myself."
There was a long awkward silence as the two men both glared at each other. I looked over at Louis who was smiling at a glaring Thomas. At first I didn't understand until Louis wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to him.
"Alright guys, back to business. Thomas, I really am sorry that I don't have an amazing fact nobody knows about you. I'm just sorry for your eight girlfriends since they thought you were a good person. At least I'm letting them keep your shitty memories." I said repulsed.
"Louis if you wouldn't mind, could you please get the cart." I asked nicely while giving him puppy eyes.
"Alright, I'll invite the special guest as well." He said with a smirk on his face while looking at Robert.
As soon as Louis left I looked at the three men. "Don't worry, I'll kill Thomas first. And once I'm done with Robert I will officially be retired." I announced happily.
"Did you do all of this to take over our gang?" Lenny asked making me roll my eyes.
"No, I did this to avenge my sister, and childhood self. You guys ruined everything for me. My mother became abusive after you kicked her out of the gang for having family!" I yelled while flipping the table.
"Besides, I already have someone replacing you three." I reassured.
"Who?"
"Perfect timing. Aaron, we were just talking about you." I said happily as I turned to face the two guys.
"Good, I'd hate for them to rest peacefully in hell." Aaron smirked while looking at the Coopers.
"This can't be happening." Lenny grunted.
"He's the enemy Mac, you know that." Thomas blurted out.
"What I know is that you ruined my life along with Aarons, Thomas. If you guys can't deal with the consequences then you shouldn't have done it. But it's too late for you now."
-- -- --
"Well Aaron, call me if you need anything or just want to hang out. Believe it or not, I do consider us friends."
"So if I want to hang out with you, Louis, or Ivy it would be possible?"
"Of course, my family is yours. You will be her Uncle Awesome Aaron." I joked as we walked to the car.
"I will hold you to that Phoenix." He smiled as he got in the back seat and the driver started the car.
"See you soon Aaron." I hollered and waved to him as they drove out of sight.
"So girlfriend, what do you want to do now?" Louis whispered into my ear while he hugged me from behind.
"Why don't we get married?" I asked with a smile on my face as I saw Ivy climbing a tree.
"Alright then future Misses Clark, when?"
