Chance Meeting

It's been a year now Mia has gained enough money,her Dad seemes to have been getting money to support the family but not as much as first,so with her Dad adding up too she was able to pay for two academic years. Mia is now in the university offering her desired course computer science, she helped Sey out to replace her at her old job so that she gets into the university next year by earning enough to pay her fees.

Some months before entering the university as a fresher ,Mia was popular in her class chat group and everyone wanted to know and see her, thanks to Sey she was opening up a bit to others but not to the extent of being really close like that of her relationship with Sey. So she met up with a few and said hello to them and they were excited to meet her it was like she was some kind of a famous star. Some of them wanted her to stand as the class rep but she politely declined.She was still working as a part timer at a super market and she always come from her home to university every day, even with this is stressful enough how much more going for a position to add to her burden.

Known as a beauty in her senior high school days wiith the nickname high school flower most of the guys had crushes on her but couldn't approach her ,because they feared of being rejected.

Mia possessed a timeless beauty—an ethereal quality that transcended mere physical features.

Well is not like they are cowards because every single guy that proposed to Mia was rejected without a second thought.Even at home or in taxi young guys would ask of her number ,knowing their intention she gave her numbers to them only to block them or frustrate them through their test messages and calls.Mia had a way of handling each guy when she turns them down.This is because guys can be really dangerous when you turn them down in a wrong way.Well her mom didn't know that and would call her cheap girl for distributing her number to any guy she sees ,whenever she tries to defend herself with the truth she turns to be a disrespectful girl to her mom.

In university there was no exception she stil turned guys down and handled them with the knowledge and experience she has.

Upon everything that was going on Mia did well in her first year with a GPA of 3.0 ,her parents told her she has done well and they know she could do better,well Mia was surprised hearing such praise for her mom,but never the less she was happy because she felt her mom was changing.

The school was on a long vacation so Mia just wanted to use that three months to rest and go to the music club.

There was an upcoming trip that the music club was embarking on for a paogram ,they had to make some payments for the trip luckily Mia had some money on her and made payments.The music club gathered at dawn, instruments in hand, hearts brimming with anticipation. Their destination: Edinburgh, a city where cobblestone streets whispered with forgotten melodies,were they are to perform.

The very air seemed to hum with anticipation.

Entering the train Sey and Mia sat beside each other and then off they went to sleep immedietley the prayer for a save jorney ended.The journey was a long one makinng Mia's leg and back ache due to the position she slept in,After some few hours more they got to their destination.

haah finally we are here Mia stretched and said to herself.

Everyone got down and the rooms where shared amongst them two in a room,so Mia and Sey chose to stay in a room together after getting to their destination Mia just fell on the bed and viola she was gone,Sey was telling Mia that she was going to take her bath but after hearing no answer ,she then realized Mia has reached the dream world. She smiled and left to take her bath.

The whole crew getting set and ready they did some short rehersals had their lunch and departed to where they were having their performance.On the way to there Sey couldn't stop cursing and complaining about her brother .

"why what is it Sey you keep complaining without a break"Mia said laughing

"tsk isn't it my annoying brother"

"you have a brother,i never knew you had a brother"she said chuckling

"iwell he's a friend who takes care of him like a sister "

"Mhmm if you say so " Mia said with a teasing smile

"oh please"

They both ended up laughing

"Urgh he keeps calling "Sey said in annoyance.

Mia laughed well it's nice to have a friend who acts like a nagging brother a brother ,she thought,"why don't you just pick up".

Actually Sey and Lucian met lucian about five years ago at a party.

Sey talked to Lucian telling him about their where abouts because she informed him they would be going to his place for a program,and he wanted to meet her because because it's been a long time since he saw her.

Reaching Edinburgh they were directed to their seats,sitting down waiting Sey told Mia she was going to meet her brother

"wait is it your friend brother"

"Mhm"

"wait you didn't say he was comming here,okay bye bye sweet heart your girl here is going to take a beauty sleep before the program starts ,bye bye"

Sey left with a smile dancing on her face with Mia dosing off.

Mia liked to sleep a lot ever since she was a baby to the extent that her sister and others who got to know about it called her sleeping beauty with the exception of ,of course her mother Elena who would call her lazy even after doing all the work in the whole world for her.

Sey came back interupting Mia's 'beauty sleep' .

"hey Mia "

"hmm"

"my brother is calling you"

"why" she asked annoyed

"because i told him i left you here alone,so he said i should bring you along"

"tsk okay let's go"

A tipsy Mia drunk by sleep followed behind Sey. seeing there was no chair available for her she decided to take one for herself ,but in a tipsy state the chair she took fell down,in this state anyone would have been embarassed but not her she didn't care about it at all,all she cared was meeting with Sey's brother and be done with it as soon as possible,so that she can go back to sleep.

This time around she took the chair and it didn't fall,she walked straight to were Sey and Lucian sat,all this time there were two pair of eyes watching her every move,which she was unaware of,and the owner of those eyes was Lucian.She sat down and Sey introduced both of them and they shared some pleasantries.

Mia didn't care to look at his face,for some reason which she did not know,her instincts told her not to look Lucian in the eye. so she just glanced at his side profile,and thought Sey has a good and a handsome guy as a friend and brother.she ended her thoughts there and decided to mind her own business.

The show ended successfully and the crew was ready to go.

Both girls had a lot of fun dancing and moving with the tune until they forgot all their pain and surrow.

sitting in the bus Sey had a call from her brother again she kind of looked frustrated and Mia asked .

"what's wrong Sey '

"is my brother he's asking for our bus decription so that he could say his final goodbye"

Mia said nothing becauce she didn't want to meddle.

Both girls got to their home,Sey went about her business and Mia went straight to bed.

It has been two weeks since they came back from the trip.Sey and Mia were at the music club room when Sey rembered she had something to tell her.

"what is it" Mia inquired.

"do you rember my brother Lucian"

"yeah what about him"

"he's asking for your number"

"is that so"

"yeah ,so should I give it to him"

"no"

"if you say so after all i've told him my thoughts ,i don't want anyone stressing you again i want you to be happy okay,so whatever descision you take, i'll support you okay",Sey said with a gentle smile,with her hands on Mia's

"okay, thank you Sey "Mia answred with a warm smile.

Heading back home Mia's phone buzzed indicating she had a text message and it was from Sey.

Mia unlocked her phone and read the message, immedietly she saw the message she laughed inwardly like a maniac .This guy is really asking for it .

she replied to Sey

"Give it to him Sey i know what to do".

I'm going to frustrate him like crazy heh she thought with an evil smirk.
