THE MYSTERIOUS VILLAGE

Maya works at the tollbooth. She is on night shift. At 2’o clock that day, a car stopped at her tollbooth. She cut the ticket and gave it to the driver. That’s when she noticed him. He buys the ticket and asks her are you Rebecca? She angrily says I told you many times I don’t know Rebecca I am maya. He took the car from there without saying anything. After a deep breath she turned around and saw him stopping the car some distance away. Scared, she immediately called her friend who was in the nearby tollbooth. she told her friend that he came in that car and asked if it was Rebecca, but he didn’t go the car stopped a short distance away, I’m afraid. After saying that, she looked back and frowned at the sight. He takes a big knife from the back of the car and comes towards her. She as scared and tried to open the tollbooth door. Somehow, she opened the door and started running. He is after her. Seeing all this her friend immediately called the police. While running, maya tripped and fell. He stabbed her in the leg. The leg started bleeding. She got scared and said I am not Rebecca you are talking about don’t kill me. He said only if you die, the curse of our village will be removed and I will not accept my child to be the victim of that curse. Saying this, when he raised his rand to kill her, seeing death Infront of him, maya closed her eyes tightly. She opened her eyes when she heard a gunshot. His lifeless body Infront of her.
