20 Edie listened to the doors close and vehicles drive away. She held her breath. There was no way they left her alone. Not unless they also rigged the building to blow up. But even that she didn’t trust. Trevor wouldn’t take anymore chances with her. Edie fought against the restraints, knowing she had to get out of there before they came back or the place exploded or whatever was going to happen next.
