21 Pryce raced into the burning house, choking as soon as he opened the front door. The entire place was full of thick, black smoke. He couldn’t see or breathe or think. None of it mattered. Edie was there somewhere. Pryce dropped to his knees, knowing the advice probably didn’t matter when the entire f*****g place was on fire and the smoke was too thick to see his hand in front of his face, but he wasn’t giving up.
