Nora POV
The first thing I did when I got home was take a nice long warm bath. After the day I had, the bubbles of my vanilla bath salts soothed my achy muscles.
I had thought about taking an early nap, but then I remembered Chris and I were going out tonight. She mentioned needing a night out, not sure why.
Since I barely do anything with myself other than work these days, I agreed.
So, after my bath, I did my hair in some loose curls down my back and got in my robe until later. Chris was still at work, which meant I have some time to kill.
My mind went back on the issue at work with Axel. Though we weren’t on speaking terms, it’d be a shame if someone swooped in and took his company right from under him.
Well, that’s an issue for another day. Right now, I needed food.
