The shrilling sound of her voice had me wishing I had somewhere to go. I was just about to tell her I didn’t care. At that time, my phone went off alerting me of a text.
Hey man, I know it’s been a while since we hung out. I was thinking of hitting up a club, you down? [Lucas]
I was thinking more along the lines of staying home, but now she’s home, I’ll go hang out with Lucas instead.
Shutting down my laptop, I left the sitting room while she was going on and on about all she bought while she was out shopping. It’s a good thing she had her own money, else I don’t know how I would’ve felt with her shopping addiction.
