“Yeah? Maybe I’ll give him a call.” She replied taking another bite.
“You should.”
Nora nodded in assurance.
“Well, I’m going to bed, have a long day tomorrow, since I bailed today.”
Chris hugged her sister tightly. She wasn’t sure if the hug was for her or for Nora. However, she felt like they both could’ve used one. “Sleep well and I love you.”
Nora pecked her sister’s cheek and returned her smile.
As she exited the kitchen and then entered the sitting room, she saw Lucas captivated by the show on the TV. “Good night Lucas,” She called out then left the couple to their movie night.
“Night sis.” He called back.
