CHAPTER EIGHT: THE REVELATION

Inside the white garden.
“Do you think he recognized us Daisy?"
“Maybe or maybe not,” Daisy replies coldly as she pat a white flower, making it turn black immediately. She lets it go and it returns to its original color.
“You are choking it, Daisy.”
“So what? You’ve been enjoying yourself all this while and won’t let me out,” she smiles.
Daisy tense as she quickly turns around —
" Mom!”
She goes to help Belle sit on a bench.
“What happened, Mom? You look sad.”
“It’s Reynard.… he hurt my feelings.”
“That punk. Just wait and see, Mom.” She storms off as Belle smiles.
“You are right Bella, she fell for it."
“What can I say?” Bella,Belle's wolf twirls her imaginary hair in Belle’s mind as she bursts out laughing.
Meanwhile, Daisy bursts into Reynard’s room. He turns around with a frown and the next thing he grabs her by the neck, whipping her to the wall.
“Such audacity you have!” Reynard growls as he sniffs Daisy, only to see three different faces staring at him. His face changes and he lets Daisy go in a flash when he sees Dandelion’s face.
“What are you?” he asks, but the trio in him was lost in an argument
"I should burn him down" A personality suggests as Daisy scoff
“He’s our mate, Fox!"
"Enough !” Dandelion yells as an invisible power breaks off and she reverts to her original form.
“You… you,” Reynard backs off as Daisy reappears.
“Ha… ha, the werewolf king is scared,” she sits on his bed, takes a grape from the table beside the bed and pops it into her mouth.
“What are you? How did you change?” He becomes tongue-tied as Daisy’s face disappears and Dandelion reappears.
“It me, Reynard, I’m a cambion and Kitsune all in one,” she sighs.
“Only a fool would believe what you say,” he says.
“Well, your wolf is a fool,” Daisy reappears as it changes back to Dandelion’s face.
“Shut up, Daisy,” she rolls her eyes as Reynard stares in amusement.
“How can you prove you’re Dandelion?” he asks.
“I’m your mate. We both know that,” she replies.
“But I never told Dandelion she was my mate.”
Immediately Dandelion stands up. “Believe it or not, Reynard, but let me warn you Reynard, don’t you dare get on Mom’s nerve. I’m warning you.”
“Or what?” he asks in amusement as he sits down. Only for Dandelion to appear in front of him with Daisy’s face as she bends to look into his eyes
“You know you’re very handsome, but what is a handsome man without his little guy?” She smiles evilly as Reynard flips her over while towering over her. But her face changes back to Dandelion.
“You have lots of explaining to do,” he holds her chin up. “You kept me waiting,” he whispers dangerously as another unfamiliar face pops up.
“I can’t believe you believed everything.”
“Why not?” he asks in confusion.
“I mean, after all these changing personalities in one body and changing faces" Reynard sits down.
“You are right"
As Dandelion suddenly raises her face, it’s not easy,” she sighs as Reynard nods
“I understand. And yet nothing seems to measure up, so you better start explaining!”
