CHAPTER SEVEN: DAISY

Reynard is yawn as he leaves his room to take his early morning sprint when he hears whispers:
“I couldn’t believe my eyes this morning when I saw her in the madam’s garden. I thought it was an angel in the white garden, only to find that she’s human"
" How did this human enter the palace so easily?” Another asks
"Alpha!” the trio gasps at the sight of stone-faced Reynard.
"Gossiping early in the morning?” Reynard’s voice cuts through.
As small whisper of his name cuts his ear as his wolf reacts.
" Dandelion" , he turns around to meet an unfamiliar face masked with a familiar scent.
“Who are you?”
“I’m Daisy.”
“How do you know my name?” he asks.
“Mom showed me your pics. You looks very handsome in real life,” she smiles.
“Well, you are an ugly sight to behold.....so piss off!” He sprints off as Daisy breaks down.
Five minutes later
“How could you, Reynard?"
" She told you,” he drops his towel
“No, she didn’t, but you should know my abilities,” his mom says from the doorway.
"I want to shower, Mom.”
“Alright, alright,” she agrees. “But you should apologize to her.”
“Why, Mom?” he asks.
“Don’t ask me, Reynard. Do it,” she leaves the room as Reynard sigh
“Rey"
"what?” he answers his wolf
“How come we have two mates and they’re both humans?"
"Well , Selena should know the answer to that.”
He enters the bathroom.
“But aren’t you curious to meet our mate?”
“Nope. If we are to have another mate, I’d rather be single all my life. I prefer being with Dandelion....but something doesn’t add up,”
"what?"
"Why does she have Dandelion’s scent on her?”
“Yeah,I’m confused as well.”
“Hey, Derrick,” he mindlinks his beta
" boss"
"investigate the human my mom brought.”
“Alright, boss.”
Reynard turns on the shower...
