Emma's POV
The rogue hesitated, looking around nervously before leaning in closer to me. "The Alpha, he didn't give us a direct reason," he whispered. "But he kept saying something about 'the traitor' and 'the one who betrayed us'. He said that you were a threat to the pack's survival and that you needed to be eliminated."
My eyes narrowed, my mind racing with possibilities. "Did he mention anything about Hudson?" I asked.
The rogue nodded, his eyes darting around the room again. "Yes, he mentioned Hudson's name. He said that you had humiliated Hudson and brought shame to the pack. He said that you needed to pay for what you did."
My grip on the rogue's arm tightened. "So, this is all about revenge?," I spat. "He's using the pack to get back at me for standing up to Hudson."
