Emma's POV
My eyes were red and puffy from crying, and my face was streaked with tears. I looked up at Bennett, Hunter, and Parker, and tried to speak, but my voice cracked.
Bennett immediately went to my side, concern etched on his face. "Emma, what's wrong? What happened?"
I took a deep breath, trying to compose myself. "It's the Nightshade Alpha," I said, my voice shaking. "He's been sending me messages, saying he knows my biological parents and that he wants to take me to them."
Hunter's eyes narrowed. "What else did he say?"
I hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But something about their concerned expressions made me trust them. "I had to know the reason they abandoned me and that he's going to take me to meet them himself."
