The greatest King ever, Soun of Ogbomoso

Once upon a time, there was a hunter who leaves in a small village with no name, no chief, and rulers. The name of the hunter is called Soun, Soun was a very powerful hunter in that land, he leaves in a hut where Soun always rest after he comes back from hunting. One day when Soun came back from hunting he saw smoke from the bush then he took courage and went inside the bush to see what is happening, when he got there he saw other hunters like him. He then invited the hunters to his house and they form a team of hunters together, mainly to protect the village from the people stealing their livestock, they all go for hunting together meanwhile their his a powerful person called Idagiri that had been terrorizing the village and no hunter had been able to defeat him. He keeps on terrorizing the village since no hunter can defeat him. When this started to get out of hands, the villagers did a meeting, and one of the people who had noticed how Soun is powerful told them he knows of a man who can defeat him. The villagers were happy to hear this and the head of the villagers known as Olugbon sent his chiefs to talk to Soun so that he could rescue them. The chiefs did as he was told, they went to Soun to ask for help but Soun refused to help them so the chiefs went back to the villager to go and report the situation on the ground and the villagers went back unhappy to their house. The next morning, Idagiri the man who used to terrorize them in the village came again and start to terrorize them again and even took some people as prisoners along with him. Idagiri left some of his men in the village so they can terrorize the village. Soon Soun came out of nowhere to rescue the villagers and one man defeated battalions of soldiers. Soun went further again heading towards the terrorist territory which the terrorist imprison the villagers, when he got there, there were battalions of soldier guiding the fortress, with his magic, he made all of them sleep then he penetrated their territory and aim for their leader. Soun made sure he defeated Idagiri and rescue the villagers before the warrior’s wake up. After the rescues, he set their fortress on fire before the warriors could wake up. The warriors got burnt inside the fire and this was how Soun save the village from Idagiri. Soun went back to the village and the villagers welcome him, Olugbon then gave him a wife, which was believed to be the most beautiful woman in the village, and also a bride to his friend Baba Ijesha whom Soun agreed to fight Idagiri because of His Son. Soun leave happily with his wife in the new house that was giving to him by the villagers until one day when his friend Baba Ijesha came in the night to assassinate Soun..
