That person was Mara, and she became a mom from that moment. So close to his mission he could not help thinking about that night he fled the homestead. When his would collapse, all these years, revenge had taken over his life, he would avenge his family and take over the homestead again. He sometimes wondered if everything had changed since he left, he had left so long ago. He needed to make a friend from the homestead who could be his eyes and ears in the homestead. There was no way he could just stroll back into the homestead without knowing what he was facing. For years, he used his mother’s bakery for information. She had a talent that could not be even found in the homestead, but he only got little information because no one would trust a human. He no longer had the pointed ears, he had a more defined chin, and he changed his nose, eyes and hair, and it worked. No one from the homestead recognized him. They could only recognize him in his true form. The Black Family true form was known throughout the nation in different homesteads. They were big and fierce. There was no way to change his true form, and he needed them to recognize him so that he could take over. He had a target from the homestead who started coming to town about two years ago. She was beautiful, but that wasn’t why he chose her. It was because, unlike anyone else from the hometown she visited the most, she liked being among the humans, unlike the others.
