"There you are babygirl." I soothed Jordy who was hungry and ready for her mama to come back home so she coule it. Gabriella had pumped quiet a few bags of breast milk and they where in the freezer but I didn't want to give her a bottle if Gabriella would be home soon. Gabriella didn't like when she had a bottle it deterred her from taking her breast. I looked down at Jordy and smiled at her. She was a spitting image of her mother. The two most beautiful girls in the world. I laid my head back on the pillow as Jordy cooed in her co-sleeper. Before I knew it I was fast asleep exhausted from being the parent of a newborn.
I woke up to Jordy's insistent cries. She was hungry. "Gabriella tye baby is hungry my love." I yelled through the house. I looked at the window. Darkness stared back at me from the other side. I had been asleep for a whole. The house was eerily silent. Worry crept up into my chest as a feeling of panic that didn't feel lile my own came over me. I stood up taking Jordy in my arms and searched the entire house. Gabriella was no where to be found. I pulled bags of breast milk from the freezer along with diapers wipes clothing and bottles and stuffed them in the diaper bag
I dressed Jordy in her sleeper and placed a bottle in her mouth as I left the house and made my way to the High Priestess home.
I entered the house without knocking and made my way upstairs. I walked through Gabriella's parents door to find them on the couch watching television. They looked at me with their brow furrowed. "What's going on grey?" her dad asked. "I need you to watch Jordy Gabriella has yet to come back from her run. Its been hours."What?" her mother gasped. "I fell asleep with Jordy and she. I woke up she was no where to be found. She wouldn't let Jordy go hungry. She keeps her on a tight schedule. Somethings wrong. I can feel her panic and fear. " I gasp for breath as I ramble unable to think clearly. Helena quickly left them apartment and returned a few moments later with Eliza and Harris. "We will check the wards to see if they have been compromised. You and Zander track Gabby's scent and find her." Eliza The High Priestess ordered. "Helena keep an eye on Jordy and please if anything happens use pack link. I'll be back here in a flash." My voice cracked as I looked at my daughter and kissed her on her tiny forehead. "Daddies gonna find mommy Jordy I promise." I whispered to her.
We all left the house and I quickly picked u Gabby scent at the edge of the forest outside our cottage. Her father and I shifted into our wolves and made our way through the dense forest. Our eyesight, hearing, and sense of smell was very heightened in our wolf state. It was easy to follow Gabby's scent all the way to the edge of a cliff. I began to panic. "Over here." Zander mind linked me. I rushed over to where he was. Tire tracks. There was four sets of tire tracks. They belonged to trucks. Further up toward tye cliff where many foot prints. The smell of humans quiet a few different ones hit my nose. One scent I recognized. "Its the man who got away. I'd know his scent anywhere." I told Zander. I searched the ground and then I seen it. A red object was laying on the ground by an area tye looked as if Gabriella had been lying down. I looked at it and my heart dropped. It was a tranquilizer.
We made it back to the house not long after. The forest turning up no sign of Gabriella. She had obviously been taken. Someone had to of been watching and waiting for her to go off by herself. Eliza and Harris came in behind us. "Someone took down a few of my wards. The ones that led to your cottage and those out in tye forest. This had to be a very powerful sorcerer." she explained. "I mind linked the Alpha. He is on his way and he is bringing the prisoner we caught last time." Zander announced. "Oh god I should of never let her go off by herself. How stupid could I be? I failed her." I cried as I hit my knees my heart breaking into a million pieces. A slap across my cheek brought me back to reality. "This is the last thing Gabby needs from you right bow. She needs you to stay strong and fight to bring her home. So get it together." Helena yelled at me. I shook my head, "Your right thank you." I agreed.
