Finally, back on coven land Greyson visibly relaxed and took me in his arms burrowing his nose in my neck breathing in my sent. I don’t the same to him. I no longer smelled of my mate and it had been driving me and my wolf absolutely mad. “Goddess, I missed you! “Greyson mumbles in my neck. “I missed you too.” I answered tears stinging my eyes. I heard the door to the main house open and turned around quickly catching the scent I had been searching for, “Jordy!” I gasped as I ran to my mother and she handed me Jordy. My mom hugged me as I tucked Jordy in my arms. Tears fell down my face and Jordy scrunched her eyebrows together looking at my face and her lip began to quiver. “Don’t cry baby mommy’s home. I’m never letting you go again.” I whispered my mom letting us go and looking down at Jordy. “She senses you emotions and sees you crying. She’s upset because she thinks you are.” My mom explained. “How is that’s possible she is only a pup?” I asked looking at her. “Jordy is very special.” She whispered as she stroked Jordan’s hair. I lifted my shirt and tucked her up to my breast. I held my breath terrifies she would refuse me but she immediately latched in. I sighed as the pressure had already started to lesson and Jordy hadn’t became accustomed to the bottle. I had no problem with mothers who chose to bottle feed, but for me breast feeding strengthened my bond with my daughter.

I looked over and Cassie was standing next to the car her eyes on the gravel kicking rocks to the side with her foot. “Cassie!” I called and she looked up at me. I waved for her to join me. She walked up next to me and I put my other arm that wasn’t holding Jordan , around Cassie and brought her to my side. “This is Cassie. She helped save me. “ I told everyone. Cassie looked up at me and her eyes lit up, “We saved each other.” She told them. My mom took her I. Her arms and hugged her tightly. “Thank you for helping my daughter.” My mom cried.

Everyone greeted me and told me how much they had missed me. Cassie had taken up with my mother and everyone loved her. She was a strong kid. The strongest I had ever met. The Alpha was contacting her parents to arrange for them to meet us in coven land. We needed to make sure Cassie would be safe going back or if she and her family where safe amongst their pack or if we needed to put them into protection. I wasn’t allowing Cassie to be recaptured.

Cassie had decided she wanted to stay with my mom and dad at the main house where all the children currently were aside from Jordy of course who was still tuck in my arms. Before I had left, she ran to me and grabbed me around my waist. “I love you Gabby.” She had whispered squeezing me tight. “To the goddess.” I whispered back to her. “And back to my heart÷” she replied finishing the phrase we had said everyday over the last 3 days. Cassie was my child blood or not. I loved her more than life itself just as I did Jordan.

“Greyson and I finally made it home and the first thing I wanted to do was take a shower. I felt gross after not being in my clothes and not being able to clean properly the last 3 days. I too Jordy to our room where her co-sleeper was and placed her inside. She stirred lightly so I patted her bottom until she settled.

I heard the water running and headed that way removing my clothes as I went. Once I got to the bathroom, I looked up to find Greyson stand in naked by a bubble bath. Wine and strawberries sat on a tray and he had gone out and retrieved all my favorite shampoos, bubble bath, bath salts and body wash. I looked up into his eyes smiling but it faltered slightly. “Are you okay? Is this to much because I can let you enjoy this alone.” He gestured nervously around the room. “No, it isn’t that. I’m just worried about Jordy being in the bedroom alone. We don’t know what they’re capable of.” I explained. Greyson put his fingers under my chin lifting my eyes to his, “The Coven has put up unbreakable wards. These wards can not be touched not matter hyow powerful the person may be trying to remove them. The wards are tied to someone’s life line.” He explained to me. My eyes grew wide, “Who’s?” I gaped. “Your mother’s. She is the one that placed the wards. None of us knew until after. Your mother is a very powerful woman, Gabriella.” He said as he helped me into the bathtub and climbed in behind me. “Oh, I knew that before any of this ever happened. She always seemed to know thing’s before they happened, and no way could I ever get away with lying she already knew the answer before asking.” I told him as I leaned back against his chest reveling in the feeling of safety in his arms.

Greyson chuckled as he picked up our wine glasses ha ding one to me. He then picked up a strawberry and put it to my and I bit into it reveling in the taste. “I’m making you steak tomorrow.” He growled. “That sounds delicious.” I replied as my stomach growled answering for me. Greyson took the sponge from the holder and squeezed body wash into it before rubbing it over my entire body taking care not to miss a spot. As he ran it between my legs a moan escaped my mouth. His touch already made my skin sizzle but this teasing was driving me nuts. Greyson washed my hair gently scratching my head I let it fall back into his hands as my hard n*****s breached the water. After finishing our much-needed bath and toweling off Greyson lifted me in his arms and carried me to the living room where he had sat up a beautiful cuddle area in front of the couch so that we wouldn’t wake Jordan. He had placed several blankets and pillows along with the throw pillows on the couch surrounded by led battery candles. He made sure to bring own wine and strawberries but added a variety of cheese and crackers along with some grapes. I quietly went to the bedroom and slipped my white silk nightie over my head before returning to the living room where Greyson already had a movie on and was curled up in the floor.

I went to him and laid in front of him. He curled himself around me holding me against his chest. I could feel his heartbeat against my back.
