Get it together

(GREYSON POV)

It's been forty eight hours since those bastards took her from me. I know she is still alive because if she dies I die. Our bond molds our souls together. Think otf conjoined twins that share a heart, liver, stomach. All the important organs., and what would happen if they where separated. When her soul leaves her body so will mine. Jordan has been restless. She misses her mother as much as I do. I'm thankful Gabriella pumped and saved so much milk for our baby. Everything reminds me of her and her scent is still thick in our cottage. I wrap Jordy in her tshirt that she wore the morning she went missing. It helps to soothe her and helps her rest peacefully. We are meeting today to come up with a plan of action to rescue Gabriella. The prisoner is here and willing to help us. I hand Jordy to Gabriella's mother and kiss her on her forehead. "Keep her wrapped in the shirt. If not she will wake up crying for Gabby." I informed her watching as he eyes fill with tears. "Of course. Come little one Grandma has got you now." she whispers her voice cracking as tear flow from her eyes. I feel her pain. Her pain and everyone elses times ten.

I enter the room and everyone falls quiet. Even my father who always takes charge. He knows I am now Alpha over every Alpha of every pack and he shows me the respect that he should while I still show him and the others that their opinion matters in the decisions we make. I've been working on my powers. The High Priestess and Priest have helped me to learn to control my gifts. I have the gift to control Earth and Fire while Gabriella can control fire and air. Although she is unaware of all of her abilities, and how to control them. A part of me wonders if she may be trying to hone in on them and practicing with her gift wherever she is. Our mind link doesn't work. Its like something is blocking the reception and I cant help but think that they have a spell over the building she is being held in that stops tye use of powers weather they be shifting, linking, or magic. I hope she is at least trying and hasn't given up hope. She has to fight just as I have to. It's going to be hell getting her back but I will walk through hell barefoot over burning coals if I have to.

I lift my eyes scanning the room. I take my seat at the head of the table. All of this is so new to me but feels like I have been doing it forever. Being an Alpha feels natural to me. Even the witches obey me because to them I am their leader as well. The High Priestess says that a part of every supernatural creature lies within Gabriella and I, Binding us to them all. A connection that cannot be undone. The more I learn about this prophecy the more confused I become. But if it helps in getting my mate back then so be it. "Okay Dean your family is safe on pack land where they are being guarded by some of our best warriors." My father assures the prisoner. He refused to speak with us until we assured his families safety. Worried that when The Council found out about him working with us they would kill his family to punish him. He was most likely right. They were ruthless. "Tell us what we need to know . Where is she?" I used my Alpha tone that even a human can't resist obeying. He looks at the table unable to meet my eyes in full submission."When we were given orders to capture her we were told to bring her back to The Council. She would be kept in their holding cell. The Head of The Council a vampire named Lucifer was eager to capture her and seemed as if he would go to any lengths to do so. He used his powers on us to makes us bend to his will. He wants her powers. He is obsessed with her. He is also a ruthless heartless creature with no sense of remorse. He will do whatever he has to, he will go any lengths to get what he wants." he explained as anger and pain flashed through his eyes. "He found me in a bar. I had been drinking my sorrows away. I lost my job and was unable to care for my wife and children the way they deserved. He sat with me like a normal person listening to me whine about my life and my problems. He told me he had a solution to help me and my family will have all that we desire. To not only survive but be able to give them things I never would have thought to be able to do. My youngest son is autistic. He needs special classes and doctors that are very expensive. We hadn't been able to afford them and felt we were letting him down. So I went with him to his office at The Council. He gave me five thousand dollars. Somehow he already knew that I was a sniper in the army. That I was a veteran who had went to war and been trained in capturing our enemies. He told me that there was creatures in the forest that looked human but were able to shift to wolves. That they attacked and killed people daily. Men, women, and children. He told me she was the leader and once he had her, he could put an end to all of you. I had no idea that I was working for such a monster. I am so sorry." he finally looked up at me defeated with tears in his eyes his voice trembling. "I would never have hurt your family had I known. He used his powers to influence me. To make me trust him. He told me that these creatures were planning to start a war against humans and kill every last one of us. He said they were trying to stop it before it started. I didn't know what he was until I walked in on him feeding on a kittle girl in tye holding cells. He once again used his powers to make me forget. Once I entered this house it was as if all the memories flooded back in that he erased. I will do whatever you need to get your wife back. I should have known better and if I have to i will spend my life making this up to each and everyone of you. I am not this man. I do not hurt women or children. I do not split families apart. I only wanted to take care of my family." The last part was a mere whisper.

As he finished his eyes fall back to the table. My heart ached for him and I know Gabriella would fill the same way regardless of what he had done, he had been manipulated brainwashed and the vampire had used his power of persuasion. "Lets not focus on what has been done for the moment.We need to focus on how to find Gabriella. Now would you be able to draw a map for us? To show us how to get to The Council and how to get inside " I asked him. "I remember every detail about the place. I was trained in the army to have a photographic memory. This is what I do. I have captured leaders of terrorist groups surrounded by hundreds of guards without leaving a trace that I was there. I will get her back for you if it's the last thing I do." his voice is stern and he stares directly into my eyes. I nod my head at him. He may have done wrong but he was trying to fix it and with his skills we may just have a chance at getting Gabriella back without the loss of life and without starting an all out war right here and now. "Good! Let's get to work ladies and gentlemen" I command them. I look over to Dean making sure we establish eye contact. "If we succeed in getting her back with your help we will see to it that your son gets the help he needs and that your family has a stable life with no more worry or suffering. But as for you I cannot say what will happen as your fate is up to Gabriella. I hope you understand." I inform him. If this man was willing to risk his life to right his wrongs, I would make sure his family was taken care of. They played no part in this and wouldn't suffer because of it. "Thank you Alpha. Thank you so very much." his eyes filled with tears of happiness. This showed me a side of the real man I now seen in front of me. Not one influenced by evil but one who cares about others before himself . Regardless of his fate, He put his family first which is what a real man would do. I respected him for that.
