IRIS POV
I didn't want this. I felt the way Eric's hands gripped my hips stopping me from moving, but it didn't feel right. An ache shot through my heart, but I couldn’t make a sound. His eyes slowly searched mine looking for any sign of doubt. I couldn't say anything and I wanted to scream. I wanted to scream that I didn't want this, but some force was holding me captive.
“I’m helping you, Iris.” Some strange voice says and I cry out in my mind, but Eric can’t hear it. The only sound was the rain, thunder, and our heavy breathing as we stared at each other. I wanted to understand what this was between us, yes, but this was not the right answer!
