New Body and Memories

“Such bright eyes those children had, your speech… Really riled them up Chiron, or should I say Mearle.” In the now almost empty hall – except for the deity still reclined on his divine throne—A woman somewhat popped into existence, With ancient Russian clothing and an unadulterated face she looked much like those Fairies depicted in Western fantasy novels. “Fairy Aya, You of all people should know why I don’t want to go impromptu now, if the council finds out am still alive albeit injured, they are going to resume the search for me. After the butterflies come with their gift of goodwill, then I’m going to shine again, much more than before, impaling my Fang Spear into that Bastard heart.” Mearle….. No Chiron sighed, clenching his fist with deep regret and agitation. “I don’t understand, why you didn’t use the system yourself, you figured that the system and your Unique Skill Devour go hand in hand but you didn’t use it… Are you afraid?” “That SYSTEM was found in the most Ancient ruin ever to be explored since the last god-devil war. I was injured and almost lost my divinity now all I can do are these petty tricks. Do you think am going to stake my life again to use an artifact am not sure of? I let them test run it for me, I’ll monitor them till they reach the desired level, and then……” “Now, now Chiron, I vividly remember that you couldn’t temper with Souls or Time before all of this, not less even the two. Not even the gods could, it seems you reaped more than what you staked when you stole those artifacts right?” “Those are borrowed powers Aya, in the end, there aren’t yours. I need to grow stronger. That’s why am doing all of this, grow stronger and then I’ll get him, kill him Ahhhh!” The fairy, Aya sighed mournfully; the once shiny hero has now degraded into this revenge dark-colored man. But it’s acceptable he did this, all of this. Because what that man did to him that day, did to his wife and children, was totally unacceptable. Every man would go mad with rage, and when they do, they take extreme decisions. “They’re going to need new bodies. Bodies whose soul has just left, Bodies filled with vitality. If not all of this would be a lost cause. How are going to go about that” she asked. It seemed the question was what the deity, Chiron, was waiting for, as if triggered, he started yanking off about his genius plan in a mad scientist kind of way. “It’s easy, They are going to the very beginning, the time when a man develops their uniqueness, the period Human start developing, where a sense of being, of rebellion Sprout. The period they can understand blood boiling. Where they can distinguish geniuses. Where they’ll Start feeling the need to break free from family fondness…….. THEY ARE GOING TO START AT AGE 13!” ----------------------------------------- “…….. Aeries Aro, Nhem Ego!……..” Scorch woke up to see a woman in ancient maid wear, shouting gibberish at him while trying to feed him a weird concoction. “What!...... Woman, stay where you are and don’t do anything weird or I swear to god…..!” The maid stopped bewildered, looking like she couldn’t understand what he said. ‘Thanks the gods she understands my hand signs’, although he didn’t know where he was, it spooked him when someone came close to him yet he didn’t know. Making a shooing gesture with his hand, he tried getting up before an intense headache wreaked him. “Ahhhhh” Memories flooded his new brain. ‘So that’s what happened!’ it turns out he was in another person’s body, a pampered and pompous little brat named Aeries, just because his friends taunted him that he couldn’t win the heart of one of the princesses, this 13-year-old boy took some of his guards and went into the Red Blood forest –a dark place with high-level monsters— to kill a wild hound, without telling his family. They saw the hound alright but things didn’t go as planned, it was already killed in the fight with a jiggered-toothed Leopard called the Golden Flying leopard, and they barged in when it was enjoying its meal. The enraged Monster had started a killing spree, slicing through the guards' protective gear like butter, and managed to leave a deep wound on his head... The remaining guards, with the fear for his safety, managed to hurl him far from the fight to his caretaker, oblivious to the fact that the injury had already caused his death in that instant… Though it was mostly due to shock and trepidation of that horrible moment, one can say it’s because of the monster he died. “What a wimp” coming with the memories was the instant ability to understand and speak the words- The language of the continent. “Master Aeries, You must drink, we have to hurry back to the castle, the potion should stop the bleeding and provide enough strength to make it back home”. The maid seeing him not making any effort to drink the potion fluttery spoke again. “I’ve heard, I’ve heard. Can you keep quiet first, you’re interrupting my thoughts” Scorch tried to make a collection of everything and sort out all the jumbled memories in his head. “Sir Aeries, it seems you don’t know the altitude of your mistake. You should hurry out of here; tell the Earl we did our best in serving him… just….” The maid stopped halfway through her speech and started sobbing. She threw the bottle to Scorch and ran, leaving him even more confused. In fact, the only difference between him now and him just being reincarnated 30 seconds ago is the fluency in their language. While he had memories of the owner of this body, they were just jumbled and mixed up. He needed some time to organize everything. Scorch sighed, he didn’t even know which way to go, and if what he saw in those memories were true, then the maid probably ran towards the danger, this left Scorch clueless. After thinking for a while, Scorch decided to follow the girl, first because she and the guards were the only people close enough to the original body here to guide him back. He held his nose while drinking the concoction. The one thing he hated next to fat oily officials was drugs, especially when it doesn’t go down correctly. The potion though wasn’t anything like that, it seem to have vanished into his body's inner channels immediately after he gulped it down.
