     Five days later, deep within the outer regions of the Red Blood Mountain Range,

 Aeries had for five days been nonstop killing demon beast and leveling up. He was now in the Ninth stage of Body Foundation realm and needed just a push to get to the peak of the realm ! 

            With the Dark Python Demon beast by his side as his hack code, he had a much easier time killing demon beast than even Brooke and Tessa combined. In fact except the lack of demon beast, it was basically like taking a walk in the pack. The lack of demon Beast in this case could be attributed to his very own Cheat code, the Demon Snake. No matter how he had tried making the Snake remove it’s aura, the low ranked creatures had their own knack for survival, Any little leaked aura or even a somewhat quiet environment had gotten them all running with their tails behind their legs, and Aeries dared not go deeper into the middle region, He had familiarize himself with most of the routes in this outer region.

  So at last he sighed and released the Dark python to go back to it's cave.

                “BAM!”

“Screw you!, GOLDEN SKY FIST!”

                He was currently fighting against a peak rank two Demon Beast, the Browned Horned Beetle. From his escapades, he had noticed that only some special rank 4 beast could use Qi to fight with their Innate Bloodline Technique, It was researched and discovered that most higher level Demon Beast seemed to have bloodlines of higher ranked beast, gaining their specialty and innate skills from them, take for instance the Demon Python King, It had gotten it’s Bloodline from a Sub Mammoth Python; a holy ranked beast of a very high level. The lower ranked beast could only specialize in either speed or strength or agility, or like this Demon Beetle, A very hardened Chitin.

                One of the reason he had been fighting this Demon Insect, except for ranking up, was because he had to familiarize himself with the new skills he had gotten, he had too many skills he had not comprehended yet and he wanted to use this time to bring all his skills to the High Comprehended Stage. The beetle he was fighting now was over two meters tall and Five meters long, It had sharp Pincers of about 2 meters the shape of a Kukri Machete. 

        Aeries had been fighting with the Demon Insect for more than half an hour now, using all his skills except his Golden sky fist. Although the beast was fast, with his misty Steps Aeries had always managed to keep ahead of the Insect and be a second faster in everything. But no matter how hard he tried fighting this monster, he could not even make a dent on the chitin. It’s defense was just too strong. The hardened chitin was like reinforced steel the size of brick tiles. All his normal punches had gotten him nowhere, only making Booming sounds and pushing the Insect back a few meters.

 But in fact, this was the very reason why he was fighting against this very specific demon beast. This was not him being a masochist. No far from it,

            To increase ones comprehension into the path of the sword 10,000 draws of the sword must suffice, to increase ones comprehension to the path of Buddha; one must climb mount tai to receive enlightenment. {HE HE HE}

     Aeries needed a sheath to sharpen his skills to a high level and this demon insect was the bet opponent he could find. Not only was the defense top notch, it’s speed was alone was comparable to a level 2 Martial warrior.

           “Bang Bang” Loud sounds resounded as he continuously struck the demon beetle, now using his Golden Sky Fist, he pummeled the Insect until it died in grievance.

       “Hmmph. I have reached the peak of the Body Foundation Realm; My fleshy body seemed to have increased again.”

     After the baptism from the Old Ancestor, he had broken past his limits and he seemed to have advanced leaps and bounds. His comprehension of skills was now top notched, him learning a skill for 1 day was comparable to normal ‘genius’ cultivators practicing the same skill tirelessly for 6 months! His Qi channels had become more opened and with every breath, he could feel the heaven and earth Qi flowing through him like a second nature. His Body had also received the most obvious increase, making his body strength soaring to reach 300kg!, What sort of concept is that?! It means that with his random punch or kick he mustered, it would have the force of 300N, comparable to a lorry truck with full velocity, look imagine how the person in the receiving end would look!

        “My comprehension of ‘Air Blade’ has finally reached the low successful stage. And all my stealth skills had all been upgraded to the small success stage!” He clenched his fist in agitation, with every upgrade and level up; he seemed to feel more inferior and anxious, as if a rock had been placed on his shoulder. Time waits for no man; the countdown for the first tournament between all rankers was fast approaching.

        It was said that the total Mountain Range Alone compasses of more than 3 entire Empires combined together with the area the shape of a twisted Circle, Compassing of the Outer, Middle and Inner Regions. The smallest being the Outer region was comparable to a whole country alone, while the size of the Inner region was the largest a whole 2 Empires out! The forest was situated between four empires and seemed to keep them apart; The Basilisk Empire, The Red hand Empire, The Sky Crossing Demi-Beast empire, and The Blue Wing Empire, where the Johan Kingdom was situated. The empires had used the pretexts of Demon Beast Raid to make the Red Forest Mountain Range their common enemy.

Now the ranks of the demon beast vary in the region there reside in, the Outer region compasses of all the rank 1  to 3 beast and seldom a times, rank four beast could be seen either due to them hunting for easier prey or being driven with injuries from the harsh competition in the middle region. For the middle belt region, it had all other demon beast from rank 4 to rank 9! The inner region was as Illusive as it was terrifying, Strong Adventurers could only brave the middle region at most, not daring to even step cross past the known demarcation, A line of clearly poisoned withered trees filled with fog. But with all the rank 9 beast and below crowded in the middle region, people kept wondering just what group of monstrosity could be staying in such a zone. 

                Somewhere in the outer region of the Red Blood Mountain range, 

"AHHH! Bash !" Jake shouted in mad fury.

                At this moment, he and his party of adventurers were in a super battle, The Green Star Kangaroo. Like every other Demon beast, be it arachnids or Insecta, or even some species of Plantae, it also feeds on Humans and special herbs found around in the Mountain Range, and it’s mode of fighting, well…… It uses it’s fist and legs. Give it a pair of boxing gloves and it would become your one and only Joey, Or the Australian Flag. Except being larger about 3 meters with sharp teeth and claws, and with a green gem on it’s fore head used as a sensor.

             Jake and his Party, a group of some what veteran adventurers had arranged for a little hunt in the outer most region of the forest, they had; two long ranged fighters, Sally, Aged 20, a level 5 Body Foundation Martial Artist, using a bow. And Bash 19, a level 8 Body Foundation Artist. Whose technique controlled the earth for about 20 meter radius. For close ranged fighters they got Max.... 20 another level 8 Body Foundation Warrior who acted as both middle and close with his special rank 2 lance, Sheena.... 18 who used two thin blades coupled with her movement technique, she was considered the fastest and unpredictable amongst all of them at level 7. And then Jake.... 21, a strong built fighter who focused on defense and attack, he was the strongest and the leader of them all, a level 9 Body Foundation Realm Warrior.

 They had planned before entering to pick only the rank 1 and early rank 2 demon beasts to hunt, If they were lucky or unlucky to come across a peak rank 2 beast, they could still cooperate to kill it. Demon beasts were highly sort after in the market for their precious bones, blood essence, gems on their body or other precious parts of their body like the oil from the Roaring Boar, Innards from the dragon hare or event the private parts of the male white Stripped Tiger, it was highly sort after by lots of men for the purpose of longevity when reaching the skies, Which male wouldn’t feel proud and either openly or secretly boast about their prowess in bed.

                They had already imagined the new shiny rank 2 sword or other weapons and artifacts they would buy or the brothels they would go to after sharing the loot they would gain from the hunt. But it seemed like Lady Luck wasn’t smiling on them since the moment they stepped foot into the outer range, Just a few kilometers inside, they had met with a rank two Demon Panther that shouldn’t have been anywhere near there, and after barely managing to escape with their life, they succeeded in killing it, Seeing this, they seemed to have reinstated their confidence and greed pushed them inside the forest to find more prey. Hopefully a rank 2 beast again please Lord.

    Unfortunately they met with this rank 3 Demon Green Star Kangaroo and no matter how they tried to run away from it, it just wouldn’t let them off.

                  The fact was that it wasn’t only them, In fact most other groups of adventurers scattered about in the Outer range also noticed this bizarre case, with some of the unlucky ones even meeting their demise. This was all caused by two clueless people, Brooke and Scorch! They had lured out the two overlords of the outer range to be pitied against themselves, causing the other lower ranked creatures to flee far from the raging fight with their tails between their legs to safer zones.

     Demon Beast were very Sore Losers and with their level of low intelligence, the lower ranked Demon beast became very ashamed and angered about their inferiority and transferred all aggression to the unknowing adventurers until they saw blood, waiting for the tense aura in the deep outer region to calm down.

                Jake had tried all the technique he had his arsenal. Before, he had thought that with their impeccable teamwork, defeat any rank 2 Demon Beasts and even hold their own against a rank 3 one, before either waiting for help or somehow escaping with their lives. But this here had proved that the thought was just was it was, a thought.

      When they first saw the beast, they had quickly gotten into formation, with both long ranged fighters at the back activating their skills.

   It had been pretty easy in their head, Bash made a hole about 10 meters deep right under the feet of the Beast suddenly and when it fell, Multiple fire arm skills and rocks were casted into the pit till with was filled up, with rocks, Swords, Arrows, Spears and Make shift Bombs. All was done and they had even did their team’s unique hand shake only for all hell to let loose, the Beast suddenly got out of the Pit and with a punch, Bash head…….. Well was bashed into liquidly pieces, with brain matter flying everywhere. 

                They were truly veterans in the field, as soon as it happened, they quickly overcame their fear and panic and got back immediately, leaving Jake and Max who were good at close range combat to deal with the monster while the girls looked for opportunities to deal a critical blow to the beast, Sheena acted as an assassin, moving like a shadow to inflict wounds on the Demon Kangaroo. Max was a lance user with high skills and agility, while max although slower had top notch defense. 

     Two of them attacked the beast crazily, following their one rule for a critical combat ‘Do what you do and I do what I do, just don’t get in each other way’ The had tried with every blow giving their all but the beast seemed to negated all their blows easily, yet keeping them alive, It was then Max activated his skill, ‘Snake Bending Lance’ making his Lance like a snake, curly and illusive yet still strong and deadly and manage to poke the bored Kangaroo on its eye.

                This had seemed to make the Demon Beast infuriated and it speedily grabbed Max. It was then Jake lost all reasoning and shouted

“Sally, Use your storm bolt right away, Do it while Max is distracting it, it is our only chance for survival”

“But, Max….” The Assassin class, Sheena shouted angrily.

“Just do it okay, Sally, Max is already gone!” Sally, the last remaining Long range Fighter gritted her teeth and immediately set her bow, although she knew that Max was still alive, and that her Skill Storm Bolt would definitely pass through the last obstacle blocking the Demon Kangaroo, Max. Still she did not hesitate; She was a weak willed girl who had always used Strong Manly guys as her protection and she had been very afraid of death. Max had been her new Shoulder to lean on before they had started this mission, but now, seeing the pitiful dangling human in front of her, she unconsciously believed Jake would bring all of them safely out of this place, That he would comfort her when she’d cry over the dead Max, She had already made her decision in that instance, Screw Max, Jake, this strong built man, would shield her from every single storm, or at least this deadly storm she was currently facing,

She took out her bow, she drew it to an arc and immediately the air around her seemed to bend to form countless arrow head shafts with lightning streaking around them.

“HAIA” She let out a delicate shout and let loose immediately, the arrows all flew with lightning speed towards the Kangaroo, That wasn’t all, out of desperation, she continued with the second and even third Storm Bolt.

Jake then used the cover of the arrows to slide straight to the legs of the Kangaroo with his sword, and with a low aim, Swiped it at the legs of the beast, using a stance as if he was using an axe to cut a tree. The idea was simple, Since he had tried with no avail to make any substantial damage to the Demon Beast, this time he was going for the less protected part of the Beast, the legs. Simple! If it did not have legs anymore, how could it stop them from walking away.

                SWONG! 

        The blade crashed heavily on the legs of the kangaroo, the sword he used was a Rank 1 weapon, so although it did not pass cleanly through the beast, it still manage to leave a deep terrifying wound at its legs. Making the already infuriated beast howl out in anger.

“Immediately run, follow the trial back to the walls.” He immediately shouted, they all started running without seeing the situation of the beast or Max. After running for a while a sudden howl caused them to shudder, it seemed like the Kangaroo was still alive a jumpy .
