Old Ancestor.

Earl Torres stood behind the Second Prince. Aeries weren't surprised. What made him frown was the condition of the King. To say the least, he was sickly pale. His skin had turned green and his eyes were faded. These signs were that of a poisoned person. But the Princes showed nothing on their faces; The people behind them followed suit and did the same. . From the conversation happening, it would seem the two princes were intimidating the King to make his choice instantly; which Prince he favored for the Throne. Aeries eyes weren't on their discussion though. His face had a look of anticipation. He gleamed north and south but Plaque's next words dampened his spirits. “Plaque! Am starting to doubt your skills. How could it be? The treasure trove must be somewhere around here." . "Believe it or not. Brat, stop wasting time, move further ahead! I wouldn't get over myself if there wasn't something I want there." Aeries finally moved carefully above, he made sure no creaking sounds were heard. He felt bad for Plaque - since their meshed alliance started on the wrong foot, he had always been fighting every instruction the old man gave unknowingly or not. It was true that Plaque wouldn't harm him. He grinned a bit before moving forward. As for his Father... His life shouldn't be at stake this early. Most probably, as soon as either Prince had taken complete control over the throne, he must order the execution . Moving dozens of meters in a winding fashion, Plaque finally told him to stop... Below him, was a place that resembled an aquarium in his previous life. Instead of a glass pond, a gigantic swimming pool filled to the brim with scorching bubbling water. Strangely, some sort of beings swam contently in such conditions. "Screw me sideways. I don't know why I have the feeling the secret booty is hidden underneath" As if the gods were playing with him, almost at the same instant, Plaque's confirmation came up, “The arrays are deeply hidden, but such measly skills would be like solving 1+1" Plaque boasted, infuriating Aeries to no end. . "Forget this, let us go back. Have you forgotten? Although looking for wealth is good, one must first have the life to enjoy them. I have to pass through that mini-size hell to get into the vault... Only someone without a fear of death would accept—" "Kid, I've unlocked it. You can go in now." Plaque said noncommittally. Aeries refocused and true to his words, the 'Pool' had shifted to make a black hole right in the middle. 'Reminds me of the Bermuda Triangle.' Aeries wasted no time, he jumped in almost immediately, before being engulfed in darkness. [Thump!] His 20 seconds fall was stymied. He rolled before gaining balance. “We're here." Both confirmed. Aeries controlled his breathing to be subtle. Although the entire room was blanketed in blinding darkness, Aeries wasn't shocked but manage to grin foolishly, "All mine!" Digging into his Space Ring, a candescence sphere appeared on his palm. This sphere was known as the Radiant Orb; it was a common material in this realm although it doesn't work in cultivation. This orb simply holes when Pure Qi is being injected into it. . Another function is to store a small amount of the User Qi and act as a battery source even after the user stops filling it. As he hadn't used it since it was 'gifted' from his many escapades, he had to imbue his Qi to it before it lighted. With his large amount of Qi, the whole room was suddenly bright, no matter how they looked, no shadow could be seen. "Let there be light! Brat move in for the kill!" Surrounding Aeries, glowing and twinkling chests could be seen... All full with several gold stacks on each other. but a glance got him confused, "Is this all of it? Something is wrong." Even though hundreds of thousands of Imperial Gold were stacked together like a mountain, Aeries' frown remained and grew more by the second. . Don't be confused, this amount was already enough to make a commoner live extravagantly for 20 generations and cultivators would assassinate their masters just for this amount. But not to Aeries, it wasn't worth a second look. “For the secret treasury of a King to be this poor, I dare not believe. This must be another trap for any gold monger. Just as if the King was trying to say 'Take this and go... Don't try your luck by getting closer, or else." Seeing the series of Arrays the King had set, his capabilities have long since been authenticated. “Brat, I think you should move forward a bit too. After all, you're already here aren't you,? You can't go back home from a feast without a Fleshy drumstick from a turkey." Aeries grew disgusted at Plaque but still, he did not say anything. While it was true that danger lay ahead, he wasn't one to shy away in the face of wealth... Opportunities and perils come in pairs. He nevertheless, Activated his Corpse breathing technique before cautiously moving. Upfront, he could see a rusty door, probably unopened for ages. This uncontrollably got his heart beating. [Creak...] "Huh?" "Who!-" Two voices appeared at the same time. One was Aeries', but surprisingly - there was another... A youth of about Twenty-three. ‘Who is this?' Aeries cracked his brain - Trying his best to recall who this boy was from his previous memories. He got to confirm something; Whoever this was, he wasn't an Offspring of the King, and neither ass he someone prominent. . The boy radiated a kind of ancient feeling that clogged Aeries mind. Seeing him sitting nonchalantly, Aeries had no doubt this boy wasn't ordinary. But he still choose to stay, All around this youth, different exotic materials could be seen exuding Pure Qi that soothed Aeries souls this far out, 'Treasure!' “Fool! Who did you think you are to disturb this lord when he's recuperating?" The youth scolded even before Aeries could say a word. Aeries thought for a while and replied doggedly, "Who might you be to call yourself a lord be me? As for my intro, I am the Seven Prince of the Joran Kingdom. Prince Seven! Remember this well. I don't want to speak too much, leave immediately!" Aeries face betrayed no emotion. “hmmph! Even your Father would knee for this lord, you're nothing but a mere fly to me— It's you!!! why are you here?" At this Aeries blanched. Though the question of how this youth distinguished him wasn't answered, it was clear he had nothing but pure hatred, but also anticipation for him. “Am not whoever you believe me to be. You're mistaken—" “Oho? but I believe am not. Can't you recall this voice? Let me give you a hint... Red Blood Mountain Range... An old chop-off palm— I see you've remembered now. Haha!" "You are!" In fact, Aeries wasn't feeling well at all. Of course, he remembered this gods' forsaken Youth... or he should say the old man in the custody of that body. . It was the damn Old Ancestor that nearly took possession of his body! “There's no way left to run boy! And whatever artifact you used last time. It won't be able to save you now. Why? because I've got the perfect bane for all Artifacts. Hahaha!!! " "Eff this day." !
