Ambush on the journey back home.

Aeries looked ruefully at the hidden geniuses and vowed to renege his promise if many of them failed this test. Right this was a test to see figure out which of them would flunk this,  and where their priorities lay. “How long exactly is this bond suppose to last.” A calm voice said from behind. “It would only be for 5 years. after then if you want to leave you’re free to. If you want to stay back and continue, you’ll be highly welcomed and your slave status revoked, you’ll be something in the lines of a hire."    "How should we believe you'll keep your word, we are strangers after all." "There's no need for me to lie in this situation is there? if I had wanted you to do anything, I'll just have bonded you right now, but I want to make it clear, these are Rank 2 soul chains with only 50 rank 3 soul chains. The rank 2 chains as you know would be automatically broken when any of you reaches the Martial warrior realm, which with my aid is a guarantee. the Rank 3 soul chains are for a selected few that have the potential to cultivate, all precious resources would be mainly allocated to you and your cultivation would be smooth sailing up till the Martial General Realm."    Explaining till here Aeries answered more questions and let them choose either of the options. At the end most of the geniuses he had set his eyes on had willing accepted the soul chains for the duration of 5 years.  To his surprise Lana and all the girls who had stayed glued to him before immediately distanced their self, totally convinced they could live happily on their own. Aeries did not say any thing else and proceeded with the rest of the people.    After a long and tortuous day, he manage to successfully arrange a large house close to the Earl's mansion and register them as normal slaves under his every judistion.   "Remember to clean up this place and stay low for the next few weeks, a storm is brewing in this capital, one strong enough to wipe out all taller tress and rake the smaller ones too. So stay put and go out only when you need basic necessities. Oh and remember, you only answer to me. My father, or the minions following behind do not have any authority over you should there come. Though I doubt my father would."   After leaving series of instructions behind, he also hired a few strong cultivators to act as protectors for them and left useful resources like gold coins and Ranked weapons, and pills.     He smiled in satisfaction when he saw the surprise and admiration on all their faces. Truthfully most of them where normal commoners who never had this much, if not Krush in his greediness would never had agreed to sell off such priceless merchandise.      == === = == === == === === ==== === == === === === === === === === === ============== ====== == With bowed head, Aeries lazily stretched his cramped shoulders while making sure everything is in order .    The rising sun's rays peeking through loosen blind strands illuminated half of his face . His thin body with doll like appearance shone, the face sporting a few bright spots to make it seem oddly friendly .  Aeries reminisce his journey till now, half a year ago when he first made his transmigration here he was just a scared little boy with deep scars from his previous life, and now- although he still hasn't grown up much, he basically had changed a lot with all the near death encounters he had in the Red mountain range-- and even more so he definitely must encounter in the nearest future. 'What game have you staged for us... Mearle? '        At this, Aeries smiled but soon became indifferent with even an expectant look. Being an poor low life family -- typically the lowest on the chain --, from a young age he understood that might makes right, that the poor were the helpless, yet the most abused . He continue to arrange his last belongings and arrange a for a personal carriage to take him out of this dark scheming whirl pool of the freaking capital.      One week later...       At this time, in the north of the Joran Kingdom, a black carriage crossed through towns in a blur and hurried in the direction of the Krieger's city.          The speed of the carriage .. no the horse tied to the carriage was extremely astonishing, even surpassing the speed of some low level demon beasts flying in the air.       Inside this carriage lay a young boy of about 17 or 16 years with fair cheeks and azure hair falling down to his back. The boy was calmly leaning on the soft cushioned walls of the inner carriage with his eyes closed in a lazing manner,      No need to stress too much, it obviously was Aeries, who without waiting for the return of his father had decisively set out the very instance the first rays of sunlight shone on him. Aeries was not falling asleep on the fluffy cushion at all, instead he was in mediation while interacting with the System which he had put at the back of his mind for so long.     Right now he had entered the item menu of the System. and was making a detailed check of all available items.  After settling down and thinking things through, the system wasn't that much it self, it was basically a sort of storage device that rewards it's users based on their accomplishments. while it seem to have more boost it was just a ware house of plectra of different items and skills made to be rewarded in levels. Except that, the only other pro was the ability to accurately access and evaluate ones body functions... including the amount of qi available, the health stats and the realm of the individual.   'Kind of an A.I from back on earth. only more internal and elusive.      After experiencing the “inheritance” from the dark Old Ancestor under the impression of transferring some knowledge, although it was a hidden means to take over his consciousness... , he had a perception that the System still had some hidden powers... Powers which had nothing to do with the measly functions it performed, but something more some what intricate.    As he mediated his pores opened and the heaven and earth qi flowed unhindered through his pores and meridians into his newly established shanj. A shanj was a miniature version of a core found in stronger cultivators. It was a Smoky plump stuff the size of a clenched baby fist found at the bottom of the abdomen. This was made of of accumulation of qi rich enough to form a dense kind of cloud within the body. Most cultivators would have it tough breaking through from the Martial Warrior realm to the Martial Warrior realm because of the lack of control needed to absorb Qi and store it in their abdominal region.    According to the world's body structure, right above what could be the bladder was a fluid like space surrounded with channels and capillaries of meridians. This base makes the bed rock of all martial cultivators and acts as the core in higher ones. Normally Body Foundation Cultivators aren't allowed access to this space because of their weak ability to sense and absorb Qi... They first have to channel the Heaven and Earth Qi to circulate through their bodies to enlarge and strengthen their meridians while also strengthening their fleshy body.      They breakthrough to the Martial Warrior Realm when they have ability to force Qi through their meridians to break the fluid blocking the entrances of the core. as soon as that happens they are now fully into the Martial way as consciously or unconsciously they absorb Qi as easy as breathing.    In the Martial Warrior Realm, a Dense filed of Qi is formed, called the Shanj and to break throughout the next realm, one would have to painstakingly absorb Qi enough to liquefy at the top of the 'space' here they break through when their Shanj totally has a liquefy inner sphere made up of a rich amount of Qi enough to form a creamy sphere.     Aeries could feel every drop formulating and condescending into a round ball. 'Finally reached the peak of the 7th Warrior stage. Should break through after a day or two.'     He knew that relying on the system was not per functioning, as it was used only in specific conditions, like absorbing the Qi from your enemy or dead soldiers in the battle field. but in times like this, personal hard work was all that matters.         "__________" Aeries instincts suddenly screamed danger and he swiftly opened his eyes in a deep frown.  'I don't believe I ever did something I'll become enemies with anyone, could it be..."    Fully trusting his sixth sense, he activated his Golden Sky fist to the limit and quietly circulated his newly condensed Qi to his legs and feet, ready to escape with the Misty Steps. He knew whoever was pursuing him would've blocked all paths of retreat and was closing on him from every angle. He could faintly sense them crouching closely like tigers stalking their prey    He quietly activated his Seth's eye which could be used to sense the radiation of heat from bodies.  Doing that he could clearly 'see' 8 heat signals closing on him from all angles and one other far away sitting on what could faintly be described as a demon horse. Using the amount of hear radiating from their bodies, Aeries summed that all eight where in the mid or early stages of the martial warrior realm   'Good Krush, Good Krush' he whispered angrily through his teeth.      Rumors had spread throughout the Joran Kingdom about the most lucky Slick Pants who successfully ignited his potential and broke throughout the Body Foundation Realm at the Age of 13! this was almost precedent and everyone peculated that it was a forbidden pill used to aid him break through by burning his live span. That was just weeks ago, All this while even his mother and father had never knew his real cultivation realm.      The only three people he had shown this to in his haste to strike an alliance and gain a sudden foot hold in the almost ready Cake, scooping for the fisherman's benefits. They were; Mariah, Lhaw and Krush. One of them was murdered to keep the secret hidden, Lhaw was a Pompous exclusive fellow who did not hold any one form the Joran Kingdom in regard. Aeries was a 100% sure that battle crazed bastard would never become a toot to teller and rant out everything that happened. The only person left was Krush, and knowing his Jitteriness for profits, he would surely sell his family if given the right price, not to talk of some ignorant kid like Aeries.   'f**k!! Except me, Krush is in an alliance with only one other person, the freaking Master mind behind all the Boundary Battle, embezzlement and tension within the capital. I wonder why this hidden puppeteer became interested in me.'     Aeries prepared himself as he looked for the most straight forward strategy to defeat all this disturbances, bundle them up till they expose every secret there is to know about the Master mind and the Capital in general.      'And here was I wondering where I could harvest some ready Qi. The heavens must be smiling on me.'
