Before The Journey.

Aeries mutely followed every action as he did before and bought the Slaves, as luck would have it; Lauren who had just been stripped from her tier was happily brought onward, making him pick her out of the congested place, along with some others. He paused when his Father angrily clashed with him and shook his head inwardly. Reaching far off from the Trade Hall though, he still stopped and questioned the slaves just as before, still without any sculptures, Lana and her group, along with some others chose to leave after getting some compensation. Aeries never said a word but sighed softly, when The Blood Curling Worm had taken control of Warri's body, he delved some information about the happening of the Capital after Aeries Left, because although he left earlier than Warri, the latter used some costly Flying Demon Beast to close the gap, and ambush him from the front and although Warri was on a Demon horse then, well Aeries wasn't sure if the Flying Beast was large enough to accommodate his horse too, or if he purchased it from a nearby town. It was told that almost immediately after, three days to be exact, Several uprisings occurred all through the Capital, causing the loss of several lives. The main culprits behind this were the Kingdom's main Cavalry unit itself and the royal guards. It happened that the cause of the chaos was due to the Second Prince's Plan to usurp the throne and kill his brothers too. No one knows how he did it, but when he had finally shown his fangs, The Royal Battalion, King's Private Guards, and several higher Nobles had already fallen into his palms, leaving only parts of the military to rebel against him. Blood flowed without cessation that day and the capital turned to embroidery of Several crazed men loot and r****g as they pleased. This second Prince was the very one Aeries father, Earl Torres had pledged fealty to, in a bid to help the Family rise to higher heights. Although he was right about the Second Prince having both intellect and charm, he failed to realize then how dark-hearted this Second Prince is. But that was still into the future, now that he had rewind time, it was valid to say he was the only one who could change the outcome of everything. If all goes well then this plan of his would surely impound everything and make him the sole Winner. As he thought this, his hands never remained ideal as he sent the Soul Chains to each of the Slaves he had procured. As for the rest, Aeries let them off, inwardly bemoaning their fates when he saw their happy smiles, 'When that disarray happens three days from now, these people would die and be used as collateral damage, hopefully, I make it time. If not...' He then walked few meters far out and suddenly stopped with a smile "Let's go back, guys, I suddenly forgot something. It'll take just a minute okay." The Slaves looked at him perplexedly but didn't say anything and just silently followed forward. Who were they kidding, they were personal slaves now, their only right was too willing to follow every of their master's orders. When the Guards blocking the Entrance to the Imperial Hall saw a customer return immediately, they got confused but still let him in. "Hello, is Sir Krush still in his Meeting Room? There's something else I need to tell him." Aeries walked confidently to the Receptionist area and asked with a smile. "Am so sorry, Master Aeries, Mr. Krush is addressing another customer now, maybe if you wait for a while he'll be able to see you immediately after." The receptionist, a well-fitted woman with looks to boot replied softly in a professional manner. 'Hehe, This is exactly the Scenario I wanted, you made a big mistake immediately selling off my destination Krush...' There was no doubt about it now, the said VIP guest Krush was meeting with was none other than Warri, and the purpose was apparent, to trade Aeries information and his Cultivation Realm. This had led to the Ambush when Aeries was on his voyage the last time. Although Aeries didn't know that it was Warri who bid against him then, it didn't take long to realize that whoever was in that room had a relationship with Warri, and the said person was currently having a secret meeting with Krush right now. Aeries wanted both Tricksters to get the wrong information and act the same as before. "There's no need to dwell on that, I want to get something else though I want a flying demon beast, and I'll need to take me to show me the direction." Aeries left no room for her to refuse and made her lead the way, who was he kidding if he let her off now after trying so hard to become incognito, wouldn't that just spoil his whole plans, as he knew that immediately he turns his back on her, this Slave would most likely go and reveal everything to her Master. After a while, he was brought to an open room as wide as a training field with cages of various sizes fitted on it. From these cages, Several shrieks and hoots could be heard which were loud enough to cause goosebumps on the backs of the receptionist leading the way. "These are all Demon Beast of different Ranks that were successfully caught by adventurers. They vary from Guard Beast, Travelling Beast, Beast of Burden, even to ones that could be used as Pets. Of course, they are also Flying Demon Beast of different ranks here, Which one does this Sir want if I may ask?" The girl stopped walking forward and turned to Aeries, whether It was because she was too frightened to take another step forward or it was a professional thing, Aeries did not know, or care even. He looked straight at her and replied with just a word. "Swift!" "Oh? Then you're in luck, sir, We have some ones that move through the air as if they were gliding through the void. Very fast and evasive. " Several minutes later, Aeries had cleared almost all Flying beast in their warehouse but still had s frown of dissatisfaction on his face. The Maid saw this and snorted silently, thinking that he had shrunk back when he heard the prices of the birds. She advised him with a sneer "Young Sir, could it be that you haven't seen any that could catch your fancy? We are almost that the end of their category yet you haven't chosen, forgive me for my weak perspective, but is no one really good for you?" Aeries knew what she implied and instead snorted heavily, he glared at the woman and caused her to divert her eyes in guilt. 'It seems this faction is still in effect, for the maids to continually try to oppose me, He He.' "I need something Fast, the Fastest one you possess" "T-this, young sir should not joke please, only the Flying Demon Beast with the highest Rank in all we have would be the fastest, but this one is costly, are you sure, ?" "Are you dumb or something? What business does this young Master have with you that'll give you such effrontery to openly stand against this Young Master's wishes? Or do you want your higher-ups to hear of this matter?" The Woman suddenly whitened horribly in fear and clamped her hands together. "This Maid just spoke out of sheer Ignorance, Please Young Master Aeries should not take this to heart. This maid request for Punishment." When she remembered the fate of Mariah [ chapter ] she involuntarily shuddered. Who sent her to open her mouth into something that doesn't even concern her at all, Mariah had worked just beside her so she knew the day she got missing, It was the very first time Aeries had swagged in and then Mariah saw him as a green Beans to cook, but fate was cruel and just one sentence had led to her demise. When the receptionist recalled what happened, she shivered visibly and keep a distance from Aeries. "In here is the best of them all, although it has next to no offense, its speed surpasses every other flying monster of the same rank or even of higher ranks. Here is it, A Rank 3 Flying Demon Beast Called Soaring Humming Bird. As you can see, it has its setback, in the form of its size, only enough to accommodate one or two people. So it's not much sort after, then I can trade it to you immediately for a measly sum of 14900 Gold Coins." Seeing Aerie's thoughtful look, She misinterpreted it that he was unsatisfied with the price. She promptly expanded after " It's not that the price is too much Young Master it had been reduced to the lowest you can get already, in other Demon Beast stalls, the price ranges from 20,000 to 28,900 Imperial gold." Aeries nodded in acceptance when he heard it, the fact was, him frowning now wasn't about the cost, even after all the Carefree spending he had made, he still had a mountain of Gold in his Space Ring, needless to say, the treasures found in that Rank 4 Demon Python was enough to feed 20 families till their death. After converting them to Gold Coins, his Wealth had soared to unimaginable numbers. That's why Adventuring was highly sorted after by the lower Tier Cultivators that weren't afraid of the Dangers found deep within. Although Aeries case was Rare, it wasn't uncommon at all, several times these Adventurers would luck upon treasures buried somewhere, or some Carcass of Rank 3 and even Rank 4 beasts. Even times, some stronger cultivators would brave through to the middle belt Region and their gains, for those that survived, had always been generous. The reason he was indeed thought was how to sneak outside back with this Demon Beast, although it felt tiring he still had to leave in a concealed manner. After he asked though, he was met with a surprise when the woman answered "Of course there's an artifact to use to store this Demon Beast, although space is not very large, and this Artifact can only store Demon Beast of specific Ranks, it is well known in the Capital here." "Great then, I want it."
