Inside one of the VIP rooms, the one adjacent to room C 13 where Aeries had just left.

   A hefty man with a scar across his cheeks sat angrily on a large-size Cushioned Chair with two ladies on his side. Time and again he smacked their well-endorsed buttocks and let out a laugh of accomplishment when the women whimpered in pain. With his cultivation at the 5th stage of the Martial Warrior Realm, every casual palm slap of his carried the force of more than 30kg. This was almost unbearable to normal people especially women like these who had never lifted anything close to 10kg. Forever gratifying their looks and beauty.

 "Humph! That slut... Openly shows me a treasure without understanding a bit about the depths of my pockets. A flimsy slave with no means of Identification only to boast an open lie that she's an archeologist. You! Tell me everything you know about her," The man pointed an accusing finger at one of the girls and narrowed his eyes at her. This made her panic and fall on her knees.

  "This Lowly one doesn't associate with that b***h at all, but of course I know some inside information. It was rumored that she was the head of the Research lab in one of the Kingdoms that got destroyed during the last war. She had been researching some fallen civilizations and even made an important breakthrough in her research. Unfortunately, calamity befell that kingdom and her entire work had been burnt to dust. But Sir, this was just a false rumor that one of my sisters heard. It wasn't even her that announced it but some other slave that tried to curry favor from her. Most definitely trying to get into her pants."

 "Ohio, there's no need to say bad words about her like that, you think you're better? Just a fish wagging its tail at the owner. "

  If Aeries was here, he would surely Know this person and even put a Sword through him immediately. This was because they fell out back in the alternative Timeline when he had traveled to his hometown.

  This person was Warri!!

  Well, by now he hasn't been killed and used as a Vessel for the Blood Curling Worm. He was still the spineless coward like before. 

  Was it maybe destiny that made him appear here of all time times? Of course not. It could be said that it was even because of this event that caused him to waylay Aeries in the Wilderness 

     Backing up some minutes ago. Warri was still sitting sluggishly in a relaxed manner with the two girls by his side, but different from now, another girl stood respectfully behind me. She had the figure of a girl well blessed by the creator with a cute face, although somewhat chubby that was partly covered with silver hair smooth as slick. She had the mature looks of a woman in her early thirties and even her figure was carved out of jade, with twin peaks creating a deep gully that drew every man that glanced at her and her hips well endorsed without a single defect. To add to her perks, she wore special glasses the same color as her black dress, giving her this charm that drove all men crazy. All in all, she was two words... A Beauty!

    "Oi. Lauren, are you sure this map is the real deal and not some dubious prank by your said organization to cheat me out of the little coins I have?" Warri questioned with his eyes never leaving her figure. Even with the other girls so openly making advances at him, he still kept only Lauren in his eyes. According to the Beauty, Calendar passed secretly in the Flower mill section of the Imperial Trade Hall, this beauty and two others ranked at the second-highest for the most Perfect and extraordinary lady people could not get their eyes off, and even more excellent was that she was still untouched! Truly a perfect jade waiting to be plucked. Needless to say, those who cast the votes and even nominated the girls were all MEN, lusty and s*x Craved men and wayward boys with nothing to do but fix their eyes on what is hidden behind those fabrics.

  Warri had tried several times to get one of these Favored women to his bed but had always come out short. Women like that, although slaves, still couldn't be bought with only money alone. Things like achievement and authority and connections were the first to be considered before the Imperial Trade Hall would freely trade these VIP slaves to you. In the end, it was still only about benefits.  

   "I am a hundred percent, certain Sir, I can assure you that this map leads to a great treasure stashed somewhere in an ancient ruin"

  Hearing this, Warri doubled his efforts and used his schemes to lessen the people interested in the Auction - even going on to offend Krush - before making his bid happily, to his surprise though, another person Adjacent to him started competing without going down an inch 

 'Could this person too know about this treasure? I doubt it.' Although he said that, with Aeries constantly raising the Bid, he knew he couldn't get that treasure and gave up with gritted teeth. 

  But it did not end there just yet, with frustration and anger, Warri then accused Lauren of glibbing him to talk bad against Krush and the entire Imperial Hall. Although this was an obvious lie, the higher-ups tasked with melting out discipline to disreputable slaves, had a falling out with Lauren... The fact was, Every other girl had deep envy and hatred about the way these VIP slaves were accommodated and tried to use every opportunity to chain them down 

  It wasn't long before Lauren was helplessly dragged to receive some 'Educative' punishment and even had her tier lowered to an ordinary slave...

    Back to the present, Warri Smiled happily, appreciating how deep his schemes were. Although he could not purchase one of these 'High End' Slaves, isn't it because their tiers were higher than he could afford, now that Lauren's tier had been reduced to an ordinary slave, let's see if this master doesn't have you squirming under him soon.

 As for that brat that he had gotten a treasure, Humph! It's time to teach him that 'A peaceful man can stand alone, But the Wealth he possesses would be his downfall.[ 1 ]

 CREAK!

    Suddenly sprang open abruptly and a man in a chaperone suit walked in unannounced, this caused the already irked Warri to blow off his Steam, but before he could even voice out his distress the Man Said ceremoniously.

  "Prepare to greet my Lord, Master Krush!" 

 Hearing this, Warri deflated like a balloon, he pushed out from the encirclement of the two girls and cupped his hands with booming smiles at the already opened door.

  "This, Junior greets Senior Krush. Please don't be offended, this Junior here was unscrupulous before and offended Master Krush, He had eyes but failed to see Mount Tai.[2]"

  A voice sounded from the door's entrance as the Scholarly Krush walked forward with his Fan stuck in his armpit. "No need to bother this much, With the kind of backing you have, this Senior here wouldn't make things difficult for you. I just want to pass on a message your master had told me to look out for, I believe this would concern you too since your Target that bought off the Treasure Map is one of the primary characters involved." 

  Immediately Warri heard that; his faked smile turned real and he couldn't help rubbing his palms in anticipation. 

  [1: Idiom, means that people can still rob an Innocent man because he is rich... And kill him.

  2: Failed to see Mount Tai. Means overlooking someone stronger, mainly because he did not know who the person truly was or how strong he was.]
