BETA ROLLINGS POV CON'T
I could tell that they were both werewolves, but that didn't ease my tension. I saw the male walk towards my mate and smile, flirting with her. I stood there, shocked then pissed when she waddled towards him with a smile. I knew that he was just doing his job as a nurse, but he didn't need to flirt with a marked and obviously mated female! I was not paying attention to what the female nurse was doing as my sole attention was on my mate. I let out a growl when he reached out to touch my mate. I quickly approached to help my mate sit in the wheelchair, when she backed away from my reach. My wolf whimpered, and I had to swallow back a whimper myself when she did that. I looked into her eyes and when I saw the pure hurt and betrayed look in them, I froze where I stood
