I finally looked up into the eyes of Selene. “So what happens now? Do I get my wolf now?” I asked, almost desperately.
She smiled sadly at me. “Unfortunately, not yet. It won't be too much longer, we just need Donovan to make another mistake. This time it will cost him his life. He should have been taken care of years ago. He needs to remain clueless about your wolf for as long as possible. Once he knows about her, we lose the advantage that we need to break the bond that you both share. He will try to use that bond to syphone Star’s power to make him indestructible.
